Additional info & updates

I screwed up my LSAT, scored 12 points below what I was averaging during practice. Guess I couldnt handle the pressure, o'well.

The rejection from Miami hurt.

Waitlist at Florida. Why must they toy with my emotions.

Sent in Deposit to NSU, but if Florida accepts me off the waitlist or FSU accepts me then I will go there. If not then NSU for one year then hopfully transfer to UF or Miami.

Now why oh why would you want to move away from this wonderful cold weather to go to school in Florida?!? Good luck on FSU - I went to school there for a few years and my brother is an undergrad there - Tallahassee is a cool town. Congrats on all your acceptances, and have fun! :-)

You are in the same position as one of my best friends. He was also waitlisted as Florida and has VERY simliar stats to you. I wish you the very best and with the May 15th deadline for people to accept UF's offer, you should be hearing good news hopefully very soon! Best of luck to you!

I hope you get into UF. God knows I need more engineers down here to nerd it up. I have not been exposed to IP law very much and it seems almost expected of us to go into it with our UG majors...I will give it a shot but I have not set anything in stone yet. With the payment deadline in two weeks, I imagine you will hear soon though, so best of luck to you!

Good luck to you also! Engineers certainly seem to be in the minority. Are you thinking IP law? I was also in the same position as you for the LSAT. Looking back on it I messed up the logic games (usually my strongest section) and got more than half wrong. When I retook it, I only got 2 wrong and did a little better in the other sections. Not sure it helped me too much because most schools average... But hey, at least I proved it to myself.
