07/07/11: Accepted into Chapman. Too bad it wasn't sooner.

05/22/11: Decision final - UNLV. After crunching numbers, UNLV was more affordable, even with McGeorge's and Santa Clara's Scholarship. Just got back from my weekend in Vegas. Also, UNLV awarded a $5,000 scholarship to help off-set costs until I get NV state residency.

05/13/11: Accepted in McGeorge via snail mail. They sent a big envelope with a folder full of documents!!! At first, I thought it was recruitment documents... But no.... I got a $10,000 renewable scholarship plus first year books... Time to crunch the numbers... McGeorge v. Santa Clara v. UNLV....

05/13/11: Rejected via snail mail at Iowa. But it was a very nice let down.

05/12:11: Santa Clara Update: So I was wrong... I was accepted into Santa Clara with a $4,500 scholarship via snail mail. It was nice opening the mailbox to a big envelope. This is exciting.

05/12/11: Santa Clara Status Checker "Decision Letter mailed" aka Rejection letter... It's USC all over again, haha (Seriously Santa Clara, you waited 5 months to give me a decision). That's okay, I guess that's the life of a splitter. Cycle officially over, UNLV here I come...

05/11/11: Sadly, waitlisted at Chapman. Seriously? Chapman's had my application for 5 months. It would be nice if it was some good news. One more application decision to go and I will officially be done with the cycle.

05/09/11: Sent in my seat deposit for UNLV. Still waiting on Chapman and Santa Clara. Can't wait until my cycle is officially over.

05/05/11: Officially withdrew from UNH (Franklin Pierce) and Pitt.

05/04/11: Accepted in Pitt Law! Yay!! That's a nice boost to my ego.

05/03/11: Rejection Letter from Loyola. Wish I had a better cycle, but sometimes things work out for the best. Just got a call from the Boyfriend. He got a call today saying he was accepted into a Physical Therapy school in NV. Even though I'm still waiting for schools in CA, it looks like I'm heading to Nevada!!!!!

04/25/11: USC Update: Received official reject letter, which was no surprise. However, the end of the letter "encouraged" me to transfer to USC in the fall of 2012. Does USC say this to all its rejected applicants? Anyone else get a different reject letter?

04/22/11: "Decision Finalized" at USC. After reading a few profiles, I believe I have been rejected. However, I won't know for sure until my "decision" (aka rejection) letter arrives via snail mail . I knew it was a long shot, but why did USC take 4 months to decide to reject me!?! Such a tease, haha.

04/18/11: Rejected at USD. Oh well.

04/15/11: Friday is turning out to be a good day...

12:00 p.m. Got waitlisted at MN!!! :)

9:00 a.m. UNLV!! I got in!!! Yay FRIDAY!!

04/12/11: I just got Waitlisted at the University of Iowa!!!! I definately did not see this coming. Keeping my fingers crossed!

04/08/11:

11:00 a.m. Received phone call from admissions of UNLV. Was not offered a position, however given opportunity to submit supplemental statement re why UNLV.

9:00 a.m. Waitlisted at UNLV today via e-mail. And the waiting game continues.

04/08/11: Rejection from Hastings via mail. Oh well, at least I tried.

04/05/11: Officially waitlisted at Lewis and Clark. I'm super worried that I haven't heard back from most of the schools I applied to. The first deposit for UNH is right around the corner....

03/24/11: Update: I've decided to label this as a rejection. Technically, I applied for entrance in the Fall. Since they did not offer a seat, it's a rejection in my books. First rejection of the cycle, not a very happy day -_-

03/24/11 - Got my decision letter from Baylor. I'm not sure if I was outright rejected. They did not offer me a seat for Fall 2011, but was encouraged to reapply for a seat in the Spring. Do they do this to everyone? Anyone else have a similar experience with Baylor?

03/21/11 - Online status checker just told me that a decision was reached for Baylor, and a letter was sent on 03/20/11. Is it weird that they made the decision on a Sunday? I hope its not a bad thing.

03/09/11-Waitlisted at McGeorge via e-mail

02/23/11 - via-email - Not quite waitlisted to Lewis & Clark, but after 2nd review, L&C will decide to accept, deny, or waitlist. At least not a flat out rejection.

1/21/11 - Accepted into UNH Class of 2014. Offered $13,000 per year, renewable granted I keep GPA up - about $39,000 total. At least I know I have a place to go.
