We have very similar state. Have you heard back from any schools?
My PS was about my interest in environmental law. It touched upon my change from hard science to law interest, how a particular experience impacted me and my decision, and what I intend to acquire/do with a law degree. I also wrote all optional essays (DS, Why X, etc.). Good luck!
