Nice to see more LGBT'ers on LSD. What's your top choice?

Thanks! I'm sure that you'll have a great cycle. Have you gotten that Outlaws e-mail from Michigan attesting to the fabulous gay hang-outs in Ann Arbor? It sounds like a fun place to be, although Bay Area and Boston are also great places. =) Good luck!

Well done on the Georgetown acceptance! Not bad at all :) PS. You typo'd "undegrad" under EC info. Not trying to be a nazi about it, just thought it looked find of funny sitting up there without its 'r'. Give the poor word its letter back! (Sorry, I am crazy. It's ok.)

Thanks! Best of luck on your applications as well. Do you happen to know what it means when you get an unsolicited envelope from a school inviting you to apply? I got one from Michigan yesterday and was just wondering. Thanks!

Congrats!

Michigan! What can I say - congratulations! What a great start to the cycle.

Yay, you changed it! :) And 'grats on the Michigan acceptance too! I hate this waiting thing... ;p

I'll trade you a Texas admit for Boalt, NYC, or UPenn... Deal? ;)

I'm going on a tour with them this summer before school starts! Sounds like you had a good experience with them? (If I presume correctly and you don't just work for the company) :) Congrats on your acceptances

I never did the post grad Europe trip, so I'm doing half backpacking/ half touring for about a month this summer. Touring along the Med, from Italy to Spain.

Congrats!

Hey thanks! And congratulations on your long list of amazing schools to choose from!

P.S.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you write your personal statement about? We have similar numbers and I am quite envious of your admits. As I sit here waiting for my decisions, I was wishfully thinking our PSs would be somewhat on par as well...impossible to tell, I know, but just curious.

Thanks, contiki07! You've not been doing too bad for yourself this cycle either. ;) How've ya been?

Thursday, November 02 2006 at 07:00 PM

whats ur top choice? where do u plan on withdrawing? im in a similar situtation

penn it is
Sunday, February 25 2007 at 07:00 PM

Congrats on choosing Penn! We talked on Buxbaum's deck in Berkeley... I am Jess's friend (also from IU) and have a similar dilemma to the one you just worked through. It will actually be more expensive for me to go to Boalt (they declined to match) but I can't get myself to just choose Penn over Boalt. Any thoughts/encouragement?

Stanford actually said that? What did they say?

Similar Numbers
Thursday, April 20 2006 at 08:00 PM

We have similar number, but I am applying for next year. Good Luck at Penn!

Penn acceptance
Tuesday, January 30 2007 at 07:00 PM

Thanks for the congrats, and congrats yourself on an EXCELLENT (really really excellent) cycle. :) If Penn offered me $61k, I think you'd quickly see an "A" next to my LSN listing as well. Best luck and thanks again! AK

UPenn
Monday, March 19 2007 at 08:00 PM

hey, congrats on a great cycle. Any suggestions on writing a PS to UPenn? I'm coming straight from college and talk about a legal internship and how that helped me along in my path...applying Early Decision to Penn, also an LGBTer. thanks

Would like some help

Hello, I am inspired by your success and am wondering if you could give me any advice? I have similar numbers and will be applying this year, I would appreciate it very much :)
