Hey, I was just wondering how UNM advised you of your acceptance. Was it by mail? Just curious because my decision tracker went to decision rendered a week ago, but I haven't heard anything yet. Thanks!

Thanks!

Thanks for the info....as it turns out,I got my letter the day after I asked you, so I found out pretty quickly. Still appreciate the help though.

Congrats on your acceptances! Did your UNM status checker go from Application Complete to in Committee Review and then Decision Rendered? Thanks for the help! I'm anxious to hear from them!

Thanks for letting me know! I had a feeling that the status checker for UNM wasn't exactly the most accurate. Do you have any idea how many people they've already accepted? I know they give in-state residents higher priority, so perhaps that is why you found out so quickly? I really want to get in!

No, it still says "Application Complete - Thank you." At least it's the most polite status checker that I use. :-) I really want to know if my application has even been reviewed yet! The deadline is Monday, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe I'll find out soon after that? The accepted applicant's program is April 5th, so I would hope to know if I'm accepted toward the end of this month! How high is UNM on your list?

It is near the top of my list. I have a master's in Historic Preservation, and I currently work for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, so UNM's emphasis on natural resource law makes it very attractive! I'm ready to get out of Georgia, and I think New Mexico would be a complete and total change from what I'm used to. Do you like Albuquerque?

I think I'm as ready as I can be to move anywhere. My brother recently moved to Dallas, which I know is still 10 hours away. I have a small family, so I don't have to keep up with a lot of people all over the country. My girlfriend will be moving with me, so that makes it a LOT easier! I'm just ready to experience something new and exciting, and I love what I've read/heard about UNM's program.
