NOTE: All Scholarships are per year

2-23-09: In at Loyola-Chicago via phone call from Dean

2-27-09: In at Tulane via email. Said that scholarship award would be in mail.

3-2-09: Received a bag and my information from Tulane. A little dissapointed in only $5,000 a year. I was hoping for more.

3-6-09: In at Hofstra via mail. $30,000 per year scholarship (must keep a 3.25 GPA).

3-11-09: In at South Carolina via mail. No word on scholarship yet.

3-20-09: In at University of Buffalo. No Scholarship and they raised costs by $4,000 for next year

4-8-09: Waitlisted at UConn via mail to my parents house. I did not even get to open it. Pretty bummed and still very nervous about where I will be next year.

4-9-09: In at Texas Tech, gave me until April 14th to send in my seat deposit. I called to ask for an extension until after I visited and they said that would not be possible. No scholarship and five days to decide without ever seeing the school makes it pretty hard for me to chose Texas Tech. Unfortunately, they were really high on the lists of schools I wanted to attend. I guess they didn't feel the same way.

4-9-09: Wow, I did not think my day could get any worse... waitlisted at Wake Forest. Suddenly Tulane looks pretty good.

4-15-09: "Priority" Waitlist at Richmond.

4-17-09: Visited Tulane for Accepted Student's Day. Really liked the school. Looking good still.

4-18-09: In at Seton Hall 10k/year via mail.

Congrats on Tulane--that was a quick turnaround for you. Out of curiosity, are you a USC student?

Haha! I was soo confused who this was... then I saw your email and realized it was you! Tulane is currently my first choice (I think), but they haven't even put me in review yet! They emailed me on Friday and apologized it was taking forever :( Anyway congrats on all you acceptances! Sorry you haven't gotten a lot of money yet. But I bet with people with money offers turning down seats you'll get some money offers soon. Do you have a first choice of those you've gotten into? You should bring Millie over sometime. Charlie has been growing like crazy and I think it would be more fair. Or at least she wouldn't bitch slap him as much, as funny as that was.

Thanks. I'm not that excited about UL at all :( I'm STILL waiting to hear anything from Tulane, which is very frustrating b/c I'm sure their seats are filling up fast (if their not fall already). I finally went into review about five days ago. That only took three months. Frustrating... Anyway congrats about your schools! WL at Wake is good! I bet a lot of school will take a lot of people off the WL this year. Have you considered taking the LSAT in June? I signed up for it b/c I'm trying to get off some WLs. I'm super excited about that headache again. Are you planning at this point to go to Tulane? I'm so jealous! Have you visited? If so, did you like it? Good luck finishing out school! You're almost done!
