Good luck tomorrow and I'm sure you'll do great! Remember to just relax!
Thanks!
So how did the LSAT go? How do you feel about it? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Don't worry too much about running short on time and having to guess. I literally had to quickly fill in bubbles just to have SOMETHING down on my last 7 questions of the logic games - I had literally never ran over time in any of my practices. Miraculously, I ended up getting 5/7 right. I'm sure you did fine! What day does LSAC say the test scores will come back? Whatever day they say, it will almost certainly be 1-5 days earlier than that. The waiting was definitely the hardest part for me, too, I feel your pain! As far as starting to favor one school... nope. I'm so undecided. I'm really torn between better school .vs. lower debt, and I can't decide which one is a better way to go. I haven't found any objective people to talk to about the choice, most people seem to be strictly the Law School Hoax crowd, or the "My Law School is awesome" crowd. So I'll keep waiting for the answer to become clear!
It looks like we may be applying to some of the same schools, depending on which ones you decide to cross off once you get your results. Which schools are your top choices? When are you expected to get results? I wouldn't think about it until you actually have to. :) No need to stress out during the holidays, ya know?
Hey, thanks. Yeah Apparently softs matter a lot. And also getting your application in early. I did an overload in community service, and leadership organizations. As far as the LSAT goes.. if you would believe it I got a damn near perfect score on every section EXCEPT the logic games. They game me 4 of the same question, over and over, and over and over... so I screwed up. Don't think they see the sections but yeah.. I guess this is a case where the softs/potential overrule stats. However it happened I'm glad to have the opportunities!
I think you're right that this might be a really good year for reach schools. I read an article just the other day saying that this year's law school applications are waaaay down from last year's. I think Law School Hoax and the many similar sites coming out lately are scaring a lot of people off from going to law school...and that could help the rest of us! I have never looked too closely at Miami, thinking it might be out of my reach. Maybe I will check it out. Thanks. When is that LSAT score supposed to come back?
How'd the LSAT go? You get scores back any day right? :)
I wanted to say good luck; I have the worst numbers ever and also registered for the June LSAT, and I'll probably apply early as ell next cycle. I am doing Kaplan next time. I also applied to a couple to schools this cycle. Long shot but you never know
Thanks for the kind words! I took the Powerscore long LSAT course and I think it really helped me improve-I would totally recommend it if you are looking for outside help!
Powerscore - I agree with the above poster. It's a lot of money but worth it in the end. I would invest in either the in-class version or onkline. I've heard some less than kind things about Kaplan as it relates to the LSAT.
Yeah unfortunately I have already paid for the class and started.
I appreciate the kind words. Retake your LSAT! Go on TLS and get some study tips. You can do it :) 170+!
I have some pretty good resources for studying (though my score doesn't show it- anxiety issues). If you need anything, just e-mail me and I will share.
good luck on the lsat! :)
