When did you apply to Elon? How long did it take you to hear about interview?
Hi @dess929 I applied 12/26 and was notified of an interview last week. I actually interviewed this week and was told by the interviewer that they would strongly recommend. So, I'll update when I get an official word.

Also, did you interview over the phone or in person?
I live 15 mins from the school, so I did an in person interview. My fingers are crossed for you. I want to apply to USC if I get a score bump. Not sure about living in Columbia, but I could hack it for 3 years.
I love Columbia, I think you'd enjoy it. Was your scholarship for NCCU per semester or per year?
For the year, but there is a separate scholarship application they sent with the award/acceptance letter. I completed that as well. Honestly, I did not expect anything. Fingers crossed for a better score next week! Thanks for the feedback on Columbia.
Considering applying to NCCU I know its late in the cycle but I want to give it a shot we have the same score but your Gpa is higher than mine and that worries me
how long did it take you to hear back from nccu?
I had a 4 point increase. I was looking for 5+, but it is what it is. I found out I was waitlisted for Campbell with the 145, so the 4 points may help. We shall see. I think my app had to be strong otherwise for them to even waitlist me instead of a straight denial. @Dmoore27 you have a chance. @dess929 I applied late December (26) and heard back 2/10.
I'm really happy that you were able to increase your score!! I know its not your goal, but it's still amazing and could get you more scholarship money also!
did they notify you via status checker or email?
Campbell sent an email yesterday regarding the waitlist. Then I called them regarding next steps. Waitlist isn't bad, but it's not necessarily good either. Pretty much they've extended offers and are awaiting deposits and candidate decisions and if they have seats available they will review candidates on the waitlist pool based on qualifications. Hoping my score increase will help out, because I am within their median now.
Congrats on Elon! I saw your comment about retaking the LSAT...the idea of doing that again stresses me out lol, i go back and fourth about it everyday. Im not sure what to do at this moment, bc I really want to start in the fall, and I know the June test wouls push me back...ugh i dont know what to do
It's a lot to think about. I'm up and can't sleep because the NCCU deposit is due 4/2 and I'm still waiting on decisions from a gang of schools. I'm like this time next month, I'll be committed somewhere about to rack up these loans (and you will too)! :) I think you'll get into NCCU.
i have faith that God is in control. Im okay with ending up at Elon or NCCU. Im in the same boat as you too, the deposits for Charleston and Appalachian are due that time too, and Im gonna risk it all and wait to head back from Elon or NCCU. If I dont get in, Ill retake the LSAT in the summer and apply again in the fall with a better score hopefully. Well both end up exactly where we are supposed to be Im sure!

I'm not sure if I should be kicking myself for applying this late in the cycle or not...? I'm seeing decisions being given to folks who've applied to the same schools week after week; some acceptances and some denials. I guess my app is sitting in a pile with a big question mark over it...hoping that's a good sign since it's not rejection. I know the Heaven Hotline is backed up because we are all praying for a mini-miracle. :)

Congrats on your recent acceptances. I had similar stats and blasted out my app and used the laws of averages to leverage admissions & $$. If you have any strategy Qs for admissions lmk ill be glad to help.
Did howard offer you any money when you got off the waitlist?

I have everything for this cycle riding on my next retake. My goal is to exceed or at least break 150-155. Otherwise, I will retake this summer after a few more months of study and apply next cycle. I was going to be content at NCCU. However, their 1/18 ABA sanction was a wake up call for me. Good Luck to everyone!
