Thank you, I'm thinking I should apply to a couple more schools, but I am not sure where, any ideas?
Weve applied to two of the same schools, you could try wonder, Texas southern university, Ohio nourthern, nourthern Kentucky, capital university, university of Dayton, and look into other unranked universitys which you can check out on here by state if admitted you can always transfer after your first year .
Widener commonwealth or widener deleware
NCCU has a better bar pass rate than Elon and Durham (Raleigh) area has more opportunity than Greensboro. Your stats might work there.
Thank you! I'm applying there now, have you decided where you're going yet?
Love your spirit! No, not yet. Of the two Elon and NCCU, NCCU wins. I took the LSAT a 3rd time in Feb and am praying for at least a 7 point jump. The first time I bombed (second time improved but know I could do better). I also refuse to pay sticker price for any school that will accept my current score, so I look another leap. The Dec scores came back 2 weeks earlier and caught me off guard. Hopefully, March will be the same. I'm going to aim as high as I can this cycle, but I love the Alumni network at NCCU. Hoping to find the best of both worlds. Do you have a school preference?
Best of luck to you! The same thing happened to me pretty much, I bombed the first test, took it again and increased 7 points. I didn't have the time to prepare for a 3rd time around so I'm just rolling with what I have. I definitely want to be in the North Carolina area, not sure exactly where. I'm going to have to visit some schools to make a better decision. But I looked into NCCU after speaking with you last night and I really liked what I saw
Good luck, this is the final stretch
Hey, I hate to hear these dreaded words but...retake the LSAT. Even 1-5 more points will put you in a better position, especially since your GPA is above a 3.3. Honestly, I could stand another retake as well. I have a strong work background, PS, LORs, and a 4.0 from grad school. Those little things help, but the schools I've gotten into so far are not thrilling...yet. 5 more points for me would be a game changer too. If I don't get any additional offers, I may have to reconsider.
FAMU!!! So excited for you!
Were almost done!! How close are you to making a decision?
I am still midstream. I plan to attend ASD for Elon, NCCU, and Campbell. They are all within the week. I had to pay a non-refundable seat deposit for NCCU because it was due yesterday. While that's not ideal, I didn't want to lose my spot just in case that's my best option (financially). I'm going to visit USC next week to get a feel for them; look at housing options...and I'm still pending at 5 other programs. How about you, which school are you leaning towards?
I'm leaning towards Charleston. The Dean and everyone in the admissions office have been so great. I'm going to visit early next week, but financially it makes more sense because I can save money by living at home. I'm going to there ASD next week also. I'm SOO happy for you! You have such amazing options! Please keep me updated!
Will do! The administration makes a world of difference. So, if you have that "feeling" about it that says a lot.
I received a letter today offering me CAP after being rejected and having my application re-reviewed with my graduate work i will be participating in the second session! good luck to you
Thank you !! I hope to see you in the fall as well! I can't wait to see the area when I go to take the final in June. Charleston is not far from ohio so i'll be road tripping honestly excited
You got into NCCU congrats!!! Nice to have options. :) So happy for you!
No, I am definitely reconsidering. Going to LSU next month for ASD and to look at housing options. :) Unless I get a bad vibe during the visit I will pay that seat deposit there.
Sorry for the delay, it's been hectic. Yes, I enjoyed ASD as LSU and am preparing to make the move. I've found a place and sold my home here...so crazy. Thanks for being my Day 1 on this sight, when this journey began I had no idea of where the chips would fall, but I'm so excited for the next phase of life. I wish you the best and know you'll be a knock out attorney. :)
When i was told a decision letter was mailed it was a rejection, they usually call with acceptances
