thanks for the message... that's my plan... vandy and unc are my #1's. i think i've got a fair shot at unc, bc they take the higher of 2 lsat scores... good luck getting ready for the lsat.

thought about applying to columbia because i'd love to move to ny but my fiance lives in ga and i don't think i want student loans that high...i actually love athens...let me know how everything goes for you!
emory is my top choice if they give me enough money. otherwise it's uga. are you taking the dec lsat or did you take it in october?

Summa, why the anger against UGA?
i am still in athens, but only for another day. i graduated friday (!!), and i'm going home for the holidays. the october lsat was definitely rough. i was scoring way higher on practice exams. i do not recommend kaplan. but good luck to you when you take the lsat...i'm sure you will be very well prepared!

i agree - i was initially disappointed, but the Chicago acceptance reversed that
...For an incredibly impressive resume thus far. I have no doubt that you'll succeed wherever you want to go. With that said, I would caution against heading to law school too quickly--hurts your chances for scholarships a little, and I'd hate to see someone like you lose any competitive edge. Vanderbilt put a heavy emphasis on the written response portion of their Law Scholars applications--the full ride + scholarships. Since you have the numbers, make sure you take a great deal of time to frame essays that really reveal your personality, strengths, quirks, and most of all, honest evalutions of yourself. I do go to an SEC school... but not UGA. Sorry for the ambiguity, but I'm trying to retain some anonymity. Feel free to email me for some more thoughts on the Vanderbilt scholarship. Best of luck!
