12/20 - Retook in Dec. Feeling much better about it - anxiously awaiting my new (hopefully vastly improved) score.

12/26 - A tad worried I don't have enough safeties...

12/29 - 163!! FRIGGIN' FANTASTIC NEWS! A tad disappointed I didn't break 165, but happy nonetheless. Feeling better about my reaches :)

1/2 -So, I'm tinkered the list a bit. I was planning on applying to Stanford as well (b/c I believe in miracles) but my LSAC fee waiver does not apply to them, and I'd have to apply for a specific SLS fee waiver (wish I had known about that earlier). If I come up with the money before it's ridiculously late, I may still do it.

Also, going back and forth over whether I should send in the UCLA app or just stop at 9 schools...I really have no idea what I'm doing - just hoping for the best.

1/5 - Just went complete at my first school - Berkeley! Eek - I'm officially a law school applicant *panic stricken*

1/14 - OMG, OMG - Just got an email that I'm under review at Berkeley! I think I'm going to have a full on heart attack *collapses*
*Also just called Cornell to inquire about my status - and they told me I was complete! The nice lady on the phone told me she would list me as complete and my app would be sent off to committee!!

1/15 - SLKDFJSOIFASHDFLAJK!!! I just got into Berkeley after going under review yesterday!!! I can't believe it!
*Now that I'm breathing again - just checked my Harvard status and I must have gone complete because it says I'm under review *shock*

1/23 - So I had thought being under review meant complete at Harvard...apparently not the case...got a complete email early today and nearly died.

1/29 - Went complete at Columbia today. It is welcome news considering I feel like it's been forever since I've heard anything from any schools. This process is making me crazy.

2/2 - So, it's a little after midnight and I just checked my status checker (prompted by TLS) and found out a decision has been reached at Georgetown O_O! The news could show up anytime...I might freak out...but it will be good to hear from another school :)

Checked the mail - thought the Georgetown decision had arrived, only to realize it was from American. Nevertheless, an ACCEPTANCE :)

2/3 - SQUEEE I just got into Hogwarts (aka Cornell)!! Came via email this morning. I knew that Blackberry was a good investment.

2/6 - Letter from Gtown finally arrived! IN :) Sooo excited.

2/8 - Got a first class package from Yale encouraging me to apply along with a fee waiver app. I had been planning on applying and had most of my materials prepared so I sent off the ultimate hail mary.

2/9 - So, I gave in to the paranoid ramblings in my mind and called NYU to see if I was complete - it's been a while. Well...the lady on the phone says they have received my app and will "let me know soon if I am complete or if they still need info from me." Strange - considering I called to find out of I was complete. Fueling my paranoia is the fact that numerous people on TLS are reporting receiving acceptances/rejections from NYU as of today...so, I'm guessing my news is in the mail.

On a side note - it seems Columbia is also sending out another batch to people w/ complete dates very close to mine...could I hear from Columbia and NYU this week?!? O_O

2/18 - So after crickets for a bit, I finally got a complete notice from NYU today, which is very saddening since I applied for one of their named scholarships back in December. If I'm just going complete now, there is no way I'm even in the running. Sad - I worked really hard on that extra essay *tear*

2/24 - OMG! I was skimming my favorite thread on TLS "Who did you hear from Today?" and saw that someone found out they were in NYU by logging into the admitted students page..well...I tried and I'M IN!!! Can't believe it. I'm crying in the lobby of my academic building lol. Can't wait to get the big purple envelope!

PS - Got home and the acceptance letter was in the mail. Then, a few hours later I got an email letting me know I was an AnBryce Scholarship finalist!!!

2/25 - Got the GW acceptance today via email. After waiting so long, it was kind of underwhelming after the NYU/AnBryce news yesterday lol.

3/7 - Just got the scholly notice from GW. A bit overwhelmed and trying to figure out how to bargain.

3/16 - So the "waitlist" at Columbia is a "hold." The letter says my application is still under active consideration and after reading on TLS it seems this is better than "reserve" which is their waitlist, because I'll hear back by the end of April.

It's nice not to be outright rejected :) But I have to admit - I was expecting a little more love considering the extreme love NYU is throwing my way :)

3/23 - Got the acceptance from USC in the mail on Saturday :) Now only waiting on rejections from Harvard and Yale.
