Additional info & updates

I want to attend a school that's NOT in an urban area and preferably ranked fairly high. Anyone who has recommendations feel free to advise. Thank you.

Hoping to one day perhaps to practice international business law in China.

Another dream would be to practice as a lawyer in a rural/suburban community here in the US.

In summary: I want to avoid urban areas.

Scholarship = Total amount

I've made up my mind; I am going to Iowa. Go Hawkeyes!

Biggest surprise of the cycle: Wow, I got waitlisted at the University of Kansas.

Yes. I do reply to messages you post here: I reply on your LSN page. :)

Not at all urban

Good luck on Iowa. It's a good school with a small town feel, Great night-life, and a beautiful pedestrian mall in the middle of town.

Not urban...

You might look into the University of Illinois or Indiana University (Bloomington) - great schools and not even close to being urban!

thanks for the replies

Thanks to both Peteypop and allison317! Yeah, I am doing more research and will add U of I and IU later.

Interesting Profile and Great Numbers

Good luck this cycle, you have a very interesting profile. Why not apply to Notre Dame? Good school and not located in a major urban area. Also, William and Mary is another good school in a nice area. Wake Forest is in a town/city, but the area around it is definitely rural. Good luck this cycle!

Thx LatinLegal!

Yeah, ND is a MEGA reach for me. :) But I might consider it.

Well if you want rural they do not apply to Loyola, I work down the street and its total city. WONDERFUL school but definitely not rural.

UIUC

is an awesome school in a great town that's not too big but definitely not too small. The faculty members are really nice, too. Good luck!

Baylor Information

YesICAN, If you want information on Baylor and the Waco area, shoot me an email. I went to Baylor for undergraduate and graduate school. I grew up around the Waco area and can tell you almost anything you would like to know about BU and Waco.

Baylor Information

YesICAN, I think you can probably find a decent, one bedroom apartment in Waco/Baylor area for about $500 per month all bills paid. With regard to on campus dining, if I had to do it all over again, I would only eat on campus for breakfast. That was the only meal on campus that I enjoyed. Lunch and dinner on campus were not real good in my opinion.

KU

I was waitlisted at KU too, but KU is my top choice. What did your waitlist letter say? Mine was a bit odd. Are you going to deny their waitlist spot? Any info would help me out. Thanks
