Additional info & updates

I took the LSAT last February and there was a dog parade going on outside followed by the marching band practice. So I've signed up to take the December LSAT in hopes of less distraction and a higher score.
My GPA is a little weak because of a rough start in college and some dual enrollment classes from High School, but it improved progressively as college went on, hence the much higher major GPA of 3.73.
I know I've got a lot of top schools on here that I don't stand much of a chance on, but hey... who knows?

Best of Luck to everybody on this cycle!

As of 09/14/2008, I have my first draft of my Personal Statement completed, my resume completed, and two letters of recommendation on the way. I also have lots of applications started on LSAC.

Some news...
As of 02/02/2009...
All apps in, quick acceptance to U. Miami via online status checker. I was quite surprised, considering my numbers are about at their medians and it only took 2 weeks from the submission of my application.
Acceptance to U Baltimore via online status checker... this school is a little wacky... they are constantly sending me stuff about their undergrad program. I also had some difficulties already with their UB Portal, and I'm not even enrolled in the school... doesn't look very promising.
Rejections from Tulane and Gtown (not surprising whatsoever), both via email stating a decision was reached, followed by letters in the mail in small envelopes.
Rejected ED from GWU, put in Regular admission pool.
Still waiting to hear from U Maryland, GWU (Regular admission), and American.

2/3/2009
Got small letter in the mail from American today. I thought it would be a rejection, but it turned out to be a waitlist invitation. I will most likely agree to be on it.

2/25/2009
Alright, all of my applications have been decided upon, sort of. Rejected at Maryland and waitlisted at GW, both via small white envelopes. So far it's looking like I'll be attending U Miami, unless I get in off these waitlists.

Good Luck with your applications. You're going to have some uphill battles with some of the schools but I think your cycle will come out good int he end. :)

Thanks

Thank you for the good luck wishes... I'm sure I'll need them. I know some (most) of these are a little far fetched, but maybe I'll get lucky.

How did Tulane notify you? I'm in review there and a little nervous about it!
