12/11/08- I seriously cannot stand this waiting game thing! I'm coming up on the month mark from when most of my applications became complete, so I'm hoping to hear something soon!

1/6/09-Rejected from UGA via online status checker. I'm not surprised!

1/14/09- UNC just sent me an application complete email...I sent my application in over two months ago! Not sure what that means!

1-23-09- My first acceptance from Stetson via large white package! Thank God, I will officially be going to law school somewhere!

1-26-09- Rejected from Vandy via small envelope...can't say I'm surprised, it was definitely a long shot. But I held out hope!

1-27-09- UF Status changed to Reviewed by Committee: Decision Pending. I called to ask what that meant and they said that my file had been reviewed, but a decision would not be made until late March to early April.

1-31-09- Rejected from American via little white envelope. I'm a little sad, I thought I had a chance there, and DC would've been cool. I guess I'm destined to stay in the South!

2-9-09- Got into Samford today via small envelope.

*Also, today I decided to send Letters of Continued Interest to UF and Bama. Both of those schools have reviewed my application, but not yet made a decision. Hopefully these LOCIs will help :)

2-13-09- FSU status checker changed to "Decision made and will arrive by mail" today. From looking at people already accepted there, it seems that I should get a phone call within a couple of days if I've been accepted...my phone will not leave my side for the next couple of days!

2-17-09- Rejected from Duke but I dont really care at this point. I knew it would happen even when I applied. All I care about is hearing back from FSU!

2-20-09- WL at FSU :(

2-21-09- Got into S. Carolina today and am very surprised and happy! This officially makes for my first non-backup acceptance! And they even threw in a scholarship! That makes the sting of FSU's waitlist a little less painful :)

3-03-09- I cant believe its March...the month of decisions. I still have 6 schools left and would go to ANY of them!! I'm getting a little worn down by the process, but I'm determined to keep my head up and press on and finish this strong and happy.

3-15-09- Got back from spring break to a rejection from Emory. I knew it was coming, so I guess it's nice to get it behind me! Now if I could only hear something good from the rest of them. I also withdrew from Samford today. I know I'm not going to go there over the others, so I figured I might as well go ahead and do it.

3-18-09- UNC tried to give me a heart attack today! I'm apparently not in despite the "Congrats on your admission" email. Despite this teaser, they are still very high on the list!

3-23-09- Waitlisted at Tennessee and I'm really sad about it. I'm definitely going to do all I can to get off of it and get accepted.

3-24-09- Rejected from my own school. Thanks a lot UF.

4-3-09- Yet another rejection. Is it weird that it doesn't even bother me anymore?

4-8-09- Finally rejected from Bama. Wonder what took them so long. Withdrew from Stetson today...just banking on FSU and UT now :)

4-11-09- Rejected from UNC today. Glad that's finally over. Now please FSU or UT, let me in!!

7-20-09- So, I'm editing this for the last time (thank God!). Waiting on waitlists has been incredibly hard over the summer. Definitely an emotional roller coaster. Apparently this cycle was ridiculous because of the economy. So, I've resigned myself to going to South Carolina and I'm pretty excited about it. Not my first choice, but I think it will be a good fit for me. To those who many be reading this for next year's cycle...I really hope it's not as hard on you as it was on me! Good luck :)
