Additional info & updates

Updates:

4/14/10. Made some tough choices in the last week. Decided to put in a seat deposit at UW and stick out the Michigan WL for another month. Very excited to return to my home state!

3/3/10. In at UC Davis via status checker. Last decision of the cycle!

2/26/10. Waitlisted at Michigan via email. I'll ride it out for now, though it looks like my decision will be between UW and CU at this point. Tough choice!

2/18/10. Dinged at Berkeley via email following faculty review. This one hurts.

2/11/10. Dinged at SLS via snail mail; letter dated 2/4. Oh well, had to try!

2/3/10. Waitlisted at Duke via email. Feel okay about it, as I didn't write a Why Duke essay and I figured it was a huge long shot with my low LSAT... but they gave me a fee waiver, so what the heck!

2/2/10. In at Oregon via snail mail with $8k/year (automatically renewed). Great option to have, but not sure I would choose UO over UW.

1/19/10. IN AT UW!!!!!!! Letter was dated 1/14. After all that mess with my status checker, I was afraid I wouldn't get in, but the letter sure LOOKS real! =D This is not only the best ranked school I've been accepted at so far, but one of my top choices - if not THE top choice. I would love to come home to PNW! So excited right now!!!

1/15/10. Dinged at UVA. My first rejection, though not unexpected. They say apps are on track to be up at least 10% this cycle.

1/12/10.
- Accepted RD to CU Boulder today via big packet in the mail. Sweet! Scholarship info comes out beginning in late January; will have to wait and see if they offer me any $$. Boulder would be a fun place to spend three years...
- Got the "hold" email from UMich today. Pretty stoked to still be in the game there at all, given the high stats of TLSers who also received the email. Keeping my fingers crossed for some good news soon.

1/11/10. Got an email tonight from Berkeley saying I've been held for committee review. At least it's not a ding! Please Berkeley... a Boalt acceptance would make my LIFE...

12/17/09. I got home today feeling all discouraged after another day with no news... and found a big fat packet in my mailbox from Lewis & Clark! IN!!! (Thankfully it wasn't just another viewbook; I think I would've died.) They also offered me a Dean's Scholarship for $23k/year, contingent on maintaining a 2.95 GPA. So excited!

Hey there! Yeah, I've actually heard nothing from Berkeley. Been under review since 10/19. Not sure if that's good or bad.... But hey, what happens, happens. Best of luck! Hope you get into the rest of your scools.

Congrats on UW!
