3/11/10 - so today I am starting to get sick of my job. Its not that job is bad, but its just not for me anymore. I am anticipating some type of response from some schools soon. Im really hoping for Rutgers so I dont have to move, but its doubtful due to my low GPA and LSAT scores. If I dont get into a local school, then I will move somewhere new to me. Maybe Miami or San Diego.

3/16/10 - heard back from Washburn. Talk about a rejection. It was one paragraph long telling me that my app looked good but they are not interested. Its alright. I liked their tuition but wasn't big on moving to KS. Gotta keep on trucking. Hopefully things work out, otherwise im gonna try for med school.
P.S. Widener finally cashed the app fee. That has to mean something is happening

3/19/10 - So I sent two more apps last night. Michigan State and Oklahoma City University. A long shot and a probable acceptance. We will see. I am starting to get nervous. I need to get into some school so I can quit my job and move on with my life.

3/22/10- Rejected from U of Arkansas Little Rock via email. Thats unfortunate I was looking forward to a big acceptance packet. That was a school I was actually interested in. I gotta keep on trucking. I still have a bunch of schools to hear from. we will see

3/24/10 - I sent out two application addendums today. Cooley asked for more info about my underage drinking charge and my two tickets from 10 YEARS AGO. I am fully disclosing everything to everyone now. It would really suck to not be able to take the BAR because of a speeding ticket. So its official, I will hate myself if i dont get into Cooley. Come on...

3/24/10 - I just got a cold email from Florida Coastal. What a bummer. I am really getting worried. I thought for sure that they would offer me at least a waitlisted notice. I emailed them asking if there was anything specific about my app that made them reject me. Hopefully they will let me know so I can fix this problem for my remaining apps. I bet they will say get a better LSAT. Talk about a mood killer.

3/25/10 - Thanks for the feedback ppl. So i heard back form florida coastal as to why they rejected me. They said my gpa and lsat were to low for consideration at this time. sounds like bs to me. I think i need to review all my application materials and ensure that it is all in order. I think Cooley will work out. Ive been in contact with admissions there for the last week. they said i qualify for 25% scholarship. if they say that, i would think that they are interested. hopefully. im just looking for one yes to get through all these no's. todays a lot better than yesterday

3/25/10 - U of Baltimore decline email. wonderful. my pending school list is getting shorter and shorter.

3/29/10 - Im giving a lot of updates these days. I have 4 more apps that I will send out and then we will wait. I sent out an update to CUNY telling them that if I get in, I will attend, hopefully they havnt sent out a decision yet and this will make an impact. Id really love to go to that school, its close to home, good public service program and its affordable. id be able to pay my first yr tuition in cash. If that doesnt work out, im feeling confident about Cooley. Ive been in contact for them every 3 days, whether they email me or I email them. If they didnt want me they wouldnt be talking to me soo much.

4/1/10 - I sent out 2 more apps last night. Cal Western and Ave Maria. My dad wants me to go to school in Florida (Ave Maria) because he siad it would be great to take a vacation and visit me at the same time. I think he has his priorities mixed up. I really need to send out updates to the schools I applied to also. Ive had some changes since I first started submitting apps. The good news is, I am much more confident in my applications than I was a few weeks ago. Now I am just anxious about getting in somewhere.

4/1/10 - I got my first acceptance letter. Thank you Thomas M Cooley. Now that I got into somewhere im feeling much better. Lets hope i get into some more so i have some options

4/6/10 - waitlisted at Widener. a little disapointed about that. i thought for sure I would be addmitted with a little bit of dough.

4/9/10 - im visiting CUNY on Tuesday, hopefully visiting the school will help with my chances of getting in. i doubt it but i dont see how it can hurt. Also i checked my status on Rutgers Status Check and it said my file is complete, but then on the required doc section is said that missing wait list reply form receiving. i have no idea what that means. does it mean that i am waitlisted? or that my file is complete and waiting for review? hopefully i get into some more schools. i cant see how i will only get into Cooley. Cooley is looking pretty good right now. at least its the most affordable 25% scholarship sounds pretty good to me

4/14/10 - i visted CUNY yesterday. i really like the school. hopefully by being there, that will make some type of an impact. its really small but i like a lot of things about it. oh yea i got waitlisted by another school i should have gotten into...St.Thomas -FL... kind of bumed out about that. Id like to have some options. hopefully CUNY gives me option number 2. regardless, i think that anywhere i got waitlisted, i can get into especially if i tell them i will go there for sure.

4/14/10 - I got accepted into the summer program at Oklahoma City University. i dunno how i feel about that. i thought id get some money but it doesnt look like that. right now seems like cooley is where its at, but hopefully CUNY says yes. i hope im not building myself up in my mind too much for CUNY. All my easy schools are out of the way, im expecting rejections from the rest.

5/25/10 - Its been a while since ive been on this site. Since then a few things have changed. Ive been waitlisted out the rear and I want to go to CUNY even more. I sent them another LOR from my mentor. Hopefully this extra LOR will help. Ive made it very clear that I am interested and they are my first choice.

6/22/10- Decided to go to Cooley in Ann Arbor. Wish me luck.
