Hey thanks for the luck and yeah I got my undergrad from WVU but I won't hate on Marshall this once. :-) ... WVU does tend to be extremely slow reviewing applications from what I've heard so good luck hopefully you get good news soon!

Unfortunatley I can't withdraw my app just yet. My wife has family from Morgantown so there is a vested interest there. I will say that if (and that's still if) I get in I will be sure to make as speedy a decision as I possibly can concerning that acceptance. I hope this helps, and best luck with all your apps! I'll keep my fingers crossed on WVU for you.

Did your status checker tell you that your application was in review for 19 days, or did the admissions lady tell you that? My status checker just says that my file is complete.

I actually got an email from ONU asking me if I was interested in interviewing for the summer program, but I dont think im going to do it

Sorry about WVU. You might not be missing much though, if their admissions process is indicative of their law school quality. None of my emails have been returned and all I have gotten is a cryptic piece of mail that says I'm not in or out. Good luck on the rest of your admission cycle.

Sorry about WVU!! I'm finally in review there. I think I read on someone's profile that you said a lot of people with numbers above their medians were getting rejected? What did you mean by this? Thanks for the help!

Is this happening to people who have GPAs in the 3.0-range and mid to high 150s LSAT scores? I could understand them holding off on "splitters," but why are they waiting so long to admit people?!

I've been "pooled" at WVU. I just found out via status checker. Do you happen to know the time frame of when they'll let people know yes or no?

I called last week as well. The admission lady seemed to be shocked as to why a decision hadnt been rendered for me by now...She ended up saying well you should know any day now.

I did not do a FAFSA for UD. I have basically been in the dark and I really don't want to call just because I don't want to hear any bad news. Anyway, good luck you, and I will be checking your updates. Thanks for your help.

It's so ridiculous that these schools make you wait like this, especially when a seat deposit is due at ASL on April 1.

I received a large, white envelope with a letter indicating I had been admitted. It also contained various other materials about admissions. I did not get any e-mails/calls--just snail mail. Good luck!

I just received a letter in the mail from them today saying saying that they waitlisted me. I applied back in November

Yea dont worry about FCSL. I asked them why I got dinged and they gave me a stupid response of how they have a lot of ppl to pick from with higher stats. The good news is that you got into Appalachin. I dont have one positive response yet. I decided to apply to a few more schools and will try again if i dont get into somewhere. this stupid economy has everyone running back to school. plus ppl with excellent scores are applying to easy schools to get more scholarship, while making it harder for you and I to get in. All i got to say is keep your head up and ull figure something out, whether it involves law school or not

I was rejected from Capital today too :( Dayton and ONU are also taking forever with my application.

Yeah, I was a little bummed but nothin major. I called UD the other day to notify them of an e-mail change and my file is still in review as well. My guess is that there won't be any movement on it until April 15th or later. Just speculation but thats usually the day when the seat deposits are due for most schools so I am just hoping something comes up in the next two weeks. Good Luck!

Nope. The deadline for their seat deposit is thursday so if I don't hear anything in the next two weeks, i am going to demand some answers!!!

I called Dayton on Thursday and they said they were behind where they would ideally like to be in their application process. I asked when they would know a decision on my application and they said a few weeks. Since you applied before me I'm assuming you will be receiving your decision shortly.

Interesting! My status ticker did change on May 3rd as well! I just recently sent a letter to Charlotte of continued interest so I already have a draft I can go off of if my letter brings semi-good news as well. Be sure to let me know what happens! I'm planning on calling Dayton on Monday, so I'll let you know if they provide me with any quality insight regarding how much longer it will be until we hear an update.

PS ONU had 100% bar passage of their students taking the exam this year 100% Thats incredible!

Did you send ONU a continued interest letter?

I called ONU on Monday to see what "Waitlist Accepted" meant and no one returned my call. Go figure that seems to be the trend with all of these law schools. Dayton returns calls half of the time, and ONU and District always send me to voice mail. I also called Dayton and they said I was still in review with the committee so it could be 6-8 additional weeks. It was 6 weeks ago the last time I called. Oie. I feel like they are waiting to see how many people with an LSAT above 150 are accepting before they notify anyone under 150. Who knows its just my personal theory :) So what is your current game plan?

Thanks for the update! I received an email from ONU late on June 1st stating that I would be notified of acceptance or rejection on June 15th. Oktoberfest! That is awesome! I'm 70% German and cannot wait to go there some day. Well best of luck with whatever avenue life leads you to and I hope it allows you to see your niece and nephew soon!

I called Dayton on Monday before orientation started and no one bothered to call me back. Frustrating... Clearly I didn't make the cut! Have you received any phone calls from ONU recently?
