volunteer for New York Cares and God's Love We Deliver; work for two attorneys; have been a legal assistand for about a year and a half.

I took the LSAT twice. First in Feb of 2005 (scored a 150) and then in October of 2005 (scored a 156). I'm really hoping that they look at the second score, but I know that it's unlikely.

-Happy to have heard from Albany Law School and New England, but today (2/4/06) I got my first rejection letter. It was from Northeastern. I knew it was rejection, as soon as I saw the envelope, because when a school accepts you they usually send it in a big envelope with other information inside. Oh well :(

-Hofstra put me on a waitlist. I hope I get into some other schools soon because Hofstra is going to take their time deciding if they want to get back to me. I gave them the August, 1 deadline and then they can put me off their list.

-New York Law School put me on "hold." It's not a wait list but it's basically the same difference, because they're not sure if they want me. I guess they want to wait for more (better) applicants.

-02/08/06: Fordham rejected me. I'm scared I won't get into any NYC schools!

-02/22/06: Another rejection. I knew it was a long shot with Cardozo. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait for the rest....

-3/20/06: After almost a month of no news, NYLS finally accepted me!!!! Yey! I don't have to live Upstate!

-3/28/06: No Brooklyn for me... :( oh well, looks like NYLS it is....

-3/29/06: Rutgers (Camden) asked me if I want to be on their waiting list..... I don't think I'll do that.

Hey, congrats on Albany, too! It's my first choice because it's an excellent law school for health law and ethics which is what I want to concentrate in. It's also got excellent connections in the legal field, has prestigious professors and clinics, and is all-around a nice area.
