Upward grade trend

Worked full time 40 hours all throughout college career and it was NOT easy but I made it through.

Ethnically diverse (Haitian/Dominican/African American) and have faced economic disadvantages as well

Plan on taking the June 09' LSAT, wish me luck and good luck to all who are preparing for the upcoming cycle.

04/21/09
thinking about pushing back my test date. I do not feel remotely prepared and have not been able to adequately devote hard core time to it either. Been busy with a full load of classes, working and preparing for graduation. this sucks! but on the bright side, at lease I'll be able to have 3 more months to study.

8/05/2009
Still in the midst of my lsat prep. feeling a little better than i did than earlier in the year when prepping for June. Taking another prep test today.

09/04/09
Sent off transcript request to all of my schools to send to lsac. Hope the process doesn't take too long. Asked profs for LORs also and I should be getting those within a month. Any idea how long lsdas takes to process this kinda stuff?

9/16/09
All transcripts received and currently being processed by lsac. anxious to see what that GPA is gonna be since I had an major upward grade trend. Also nervous about the September test. Seriously considering pushing it back for a second time. I know this is crazy but I only want to take this damn thing once.

9/20/09
Got my lsdas gpa and i knew it would be lower than my degree gpa but dizamnnn... I better really work some magic on the damn test if I want any shot to a decent law school :- (

9/26/09
Just took the lsat. dont feel too good or too bad about it. got through most of the sections without any time issues. depending on how this one went, my testing site may see me again in december.

10/02/09
Got several fee waivers today. Thank the lord cause I am dead ass broke. lol

10/09/09
Did some tours at American and Catholic today. American was in a nice neighborhood. Ppl were friendly but just got an "ok" vibe about it all. Catholic surprisingly seemed a lot warmer. Felt a little weird about the crucifix in every classroom but whatever... Overall, a very productive day.

10/16/09
OMG! I want my scores. The anxiety is killing me. I need to know if I'm gonna have to hit the bibles books again. When I say I absolutely hate this test, I'm not kidding. I may even burn these books once I'm done with the entire process. Gotta make sure I get accepted somewhere 1st. lol

11/06/2009
Registered for the Dec. lsat for obvious reasons. Paid extra for registering late which sucks. This whole process can get really expensive really quick. Plan on cramming @ least 15 hours in a week from here on out. I really need a miracle!

2/5/2010
Finally pushing some apps out. I hope it's not too late and I'm honestly not that optimistic. I've already decided that if it doesn't work out this cycle, I'll do some research abroad, travel to some new places and then reapply (early next time) for the 2011. To late to stress @ this point.

nothing exceptional! Atleast not by my standards, just the usual, working, going to school, etc....

I took a class, but also used the Powerscore Bibles near the end of my studying.

Good luck to you too! You are applying to a lot of schools! Fee waiver??

LSAC usually takes two-three weeks to process transcripts depending on their load. It takes a while because they have to recalculate your GPA based ona bunch of factors, such as what type of school you went to, replaced grades, transfer credit, etc. The LORs get processed almost immediately, so thats nice! Good luck in September, I'm retaking the test then! Be glad you skipped June, it was a nasty one! :)

I was ambivalent about this LSAT too. I'm still not sure how I did. Glad I decided to take it though, nothing could have been as bad that June travesty.

thanks!

Greenwich Village is just absurdly expensive (even for NYC). I grew up mountain biking, rock climbing, running, etc. so cities in general aren't my favorite, but paying $1500 for a studio crosses the line. ;) Good luck

I tried

to check online, but all it said was that decision was made and mailed. I called, but they could but they said they could not give me any info. Those bastards!! :)
