Additional info & updates

I got a little lazy and probably could have applied earlier but whatever.
Double Major with over a 3.9 in each discipline.
If you do not count my first semester I would have a 3.9....hoping these academic factors will be a bonus and give me a little boost and I will get lucky at UNC or Wake

------------------------------------------------------------------------

2-6-06 Acceptance letter from Villanova. Small white envelope with a letter that was dated Feb. 3. Info on financial aid and scholarships attached. No email or anything about my application being complete or even being received, I guess they thought I was so sweet that they had to admit me ASAP. I'm officially in a law school!

2-14-06 Acceptance letter from Seton Hall. Regular envelope, letter dated Feb 13. Presidential Scholarship $17,500 per year, renewable all 3 years with certain GPA...I am a huge fan of the money and this makes SHU one of my top choices, plus I now will have bargaining leverage at other schools!

3-3-06 Called Wake Forest to check on my application because I was never notified that I went complete. They said I was sent to committee on Feb. 13th and that it takes weeks to decide...so I am still waiting.

3-4-06 Acceptance from Rutgers Newark. Large envelope, letter dated 3-2-06.

3-15-06 Email from Villanova to check my novasis financial aid status. In the award I received the Dean's merit scholarship for 10k a year along with loans I already knew about. This scholarship is huge and puts 'Nova in the lead.

3-18-06 Visited Villanova and it was wonderful. I got a very warm feeling from them and I think I will be very comfortable there...

3-20-06 'Nova deposit mailed out today along with my withdraw notices to Seton Hall and Rutgers-Newark

3-27-06 Deferred at Wake. They said they will reach a decision by April 30. I am pretty sure that even if I got in there or any other school I probably would still be going to Villanova, so I really don't care all too much as to how this pans out, but we'll see.

3-31-06 Rejected at Emory. I kind of figured that was going to happen and I really wasn't counting on going there.

What's up, sorry about the delay...I go to a private school in Conn. I just got notice that I was waitlisted at Rutgers Camden which is a surprise, but its ok. Congrats on 'Nova. Anyway, where do you go to school.?

Congrats, great school. I actually grew up across the street from the law school (which is the only reason I'm probably not going to attend). But out of curiosity, why are you so high on it?

Nova apartments

I saw your post on Slider's LSN about apartments. Did you get a housing list sheet? I'm probably going up there tomorrow to get a roommate list that the office of admissions has and to check out the area and the apartment complexes.
