Hey! Yes, I have a 154, & a 3.6+. I'm really considering FCSL. I'm wary of it becasue it is so new, but I work for attorneys and it seems that anyone who knows anything about law, the profession, or law school has really positive things to say about it. Plus, I LOVE Jacksonville and the campus, & they're offering me 36K as well. What are your thoughts on it??

that's definitely encouraging. Like I said, I hear only good things. So let me know your final decision- maybe we'll both end up there. Good luck!!!

You never know, maybe they'll wise up by the time they get to your application. When all the people they've accepted so far go to better schools they'll need people with our numbers. Good luck.

I am going to visit schools this coming month. If I haven't heard from FSU/LSU by April 15th i will go ahead and put a seat deposit down at either Barry, FCSL or even maybe Loyola, depending on how the visit goes. If I get into FSU/ LSU I'll just eat the seat deposit and go there. FSU seems unlikey but I think I have a decent shot at LSU. I am excited to make my visits and hopefully that'll give me a better idea. Where do you see yourself?

yeah, i don't have anything against going to floco either but it's certainly not my top choice. I really hope I can get off the waitlist at LSU and get in. I hope you can crack one of your top schools!

transfer
Tuesday, October 03 2006 at 08:00 PM

I would say it depends on how sure you are you want to transfer. I would have loved the chance to go to stetson but if you really want to go to florida state, you have a better chance of finishing higher in the class at coastal and it will be much cheaper w/ your scholarship than stetson. If you do go there, youshould make sure you get residency so you can apply to tranfer to fsu as a resident because it would save you a lot of money. good luck!
