Penn Deferral
Thursday, July 13 2006 at 08:00 PM

Still split about the extra material to Penn. I just wasn't sure if it was the norm for deferrals to send in more stuff. Don't really want to bother another person to write a LOR, you know? On a side note, I see that you got a scholarship from Duke- do you think the money would sway you to pick it over a higher ranked school?

Congrats!! Is that your top choice now? Still think Duke might sway you? :) Maybe we'll end up at the same place?!

Small world! We might even know each other but not be aware of it. Feel free to facebook me; most of the people I know applying to law school I know via the internet and they don't go to UT :(

o, and your question...

As of now it's between Chicago and Columbia, and maybe Harvard if they let me in there. Probably no UT. Yourself?

I'm really not sure between Gtown, Duke or UVa. I visited Gtown and thought it was amazing. I'm gonna wait to visit the others before I get attached. The things I know are that Cornell or U of C (if the deferral becomes an admit) are not really in the running but the other deferrals could change things for me. Time will tell. Do you have any idea where you want to go yet?

Virginia vs Chicago

Hey, are you leaning toward Chicago or UVa? I visited UVa and loved it and can't imagine a place more different from Chicago culture wise.

I'm in a very similar position...do you think you're passing up job opps if you choose UVA? I'm strongly leaning toward UVA for quality of life reasons though...
