You received anything from JMLS yet? I got a funky emai today that says due to the number of apps and their quality, my app has been placed on hold? Just checking.
you must still be in the big pile then! :) Still looking hard at ya I figure. Good deal. My thing just said 'hold' till later. Kinda like, 'we're waiting to see if we have a spot in July' Don't think I'll send a letter. I really don't think much attention is paid to apps anyway/suspect numbers are the thing.
Thanks for the congratulations! JMLS sent me an e-mail today letting me know that I had been accepted. Unfortunately, the e-mail did not include any scholarship information, and I had hoped to receive an offer from them, but I'll see how it plays out. Best of luck with the remainder of this cycle.
I never saw the status if it changed. I checked this morning, and the online status checker said that "your file is in the review process." When I got home today, I checked my e-mail and saw that I had been accepted. Sorry I couldn't help you more with this one, but I'm sure you'll hear something soon.
It says "Scheduled for Committee Review" with the date of 1/25/11, it previously said the exact same thing with a Decemember date and then recently updated. That's all I got at this point and we continue to wait....
I have no idea what it means either. I just know JMSL does not start reviewing applications until Jan 1. Faulkners at the top of my list too. Im getting frantic and putting in some last minute applications. I'm sure something else will come through for us when we least expect it.
