It was a "hold" letter - not a waitlist....but since LSN does not have a "hold" option I changed it to "waitlist" and noted it in my post today to let everyone know. So, you got the same letter? What, if anything, do you think that means for us???
Dutchtower, how did you feel about the email we received? To me, it seemed like a "no" but they would reconsider several months from now. :( The part about a heavy amount of applications and quality applicants kinda gave me a bad vibe. You?
Not yet, though mentally whittling it down. Will be doing some visits in the near future - hoping to have a deposit sent (somewhere) by April 1. Got a nice bottle waiting to be opened in celebration. Congrats on Florida Coastal!
Retaking certainly made my cycle less stressful; it's worth consideration if you don't like your results. What's more year in the grand scheme of things?
Southern does use LSAC for the application but they do not provide a status checker (like most schools) and simply tell you that you will be notified by mail of their decision. As of now I have received no further communication from them - and hound my mailman daily :)
