Let me know how the open house at Charlotte goes. I have also heard nothing but good things about the school. They are owned by the same company that runs Florida Coastal which is where half of my friends are going. Very credible. The school told me that they are receiving full accreditation in June which is exciting. Plus it's only 45mins from the mountains which is also great!

Did you actually receive notification of being waitlisted from Barry, or merely see a status reference on their website? I think we may be in a similar boat, but I haven't seen anyone be flat out accepted yet. Mine says "further consideration at later date". Is this what yours says on their website? I appreciate that posting of the email. Ya know...they never sent me an email. I saw that change in my status and just wondered out loud. I specifically want to get into the local, affordable law school for myself. Last cycle, I did not make the cut - and might not again this cycle... While I was waiting for answers last cycle, I sort of got bored / discouraged and began a Master's Program while I waited, planning to at least finish off a Graduate Certification in something before law schools started up. I did get a couple of offers, but too far away - it isn't like I am moving... The short of it is that I will have my Master's Degree by the end of February with a 3.78 GPA (they don't count it for law schools, but they look at it if you give it to them...) So what do you think of our Barry situation? I still have yet to receive an email, etc - rather just going off of what's on the status checker. Is that a school you're highly interested in? Also, I see that FL Coastal is your number 1 choice. What have you heard about the school that makes you rank it at the top? Also, thoughts on Mecer chances? Keep me posted!

Appreciate the feedback you left. I did not call Barry, because I didn't even receive an email on the waitlist status, I was merely going off of their status checker. I did however, mail them a LOCI letter. As far as recent developments go, I got into St.Thomas-the details aren't known because I saw this via status checker too-however, should be receiving package either today/tomorrow. Florida Coastal has an interesting JD/MBA program, I've yet to visit their school though. Does Charleston and Charlotte's pro ABA approval concern you or no? Keep me updated-Thanks.
