2/25/08 - Georgetown alumni interview.

2/28/08 - Received acceptance letter from UGA.

3/5/08 - Acceptance letter from Georgetown!

3/10/08 - Received email invite to USC admitted students reception. Hopefully this means I'm in...just waiting on the paperwork!

3/11/08 - Received the USC admit packet. Guess I'm actually in.

3/13/08 - UGA called. Guess they're offering me a $5k/year scholarship, plus in-state tuition.

3/19/08 - Accepted at GWU. I guess the DC schools are on top of things this year!

3/20/08 - Selected for a merit scholarship at GWU! $20k a year + an on campus apartment.

3/24/08 - Just got an email informing me that my GWU scholarship is upped by $10k a year!

3/26/08 - Accepted to Notre Dame with a $16k/year scholarship via email. Also, waitlisted by Columbia via snail mail. I'm actually kinda honored. I was expecting an outright rejection. Guess I'll be sending in a LOCI.

3/28/08 - Waitlisted at Michigan via email. I have to admit it stings a bit.

3/31/08 - Scholarship at USC via snail mail!

4/2/08 - Withdrew from UGA and Notre Dame. Hopefully this frees up some spots and $$$ for you waitlisted people.

4/10/08 - Accepted to Cornell via email.

4/12/08 - Got my first rejection -- from Yale. I have to say it was totally expected. Didn't hurt my feelings too much!

4/14/08 - Received a phone call from BU notifying me of my acceptance and a $10k/year scholarship. Also withdrew from USC today. There's another spot and some $$$ open for you waitlisters!

4/25/08 - Priority waitlisted at both Emory and BC. Emory stupidly forgot to include the response form they mentioned in their letter. Oh well. Withdrew from both waitlists immediately.

4/26/08 - Officially waitlisted at NYU, and my dreams are dashed a bit. Will DEFINITELY be sending in a LOCI.

4/28/08 - Waitlisted at Duke. That makes 4 waitlists in 3 days...wonderful.

5/1/08 - Things are looking up. Accepted at Fordham via phone call!

5/5/08 - Rejected from Penn by snail mail.

5/15/08 - Withdrew from Cornell and BU. I have to say, saying no to Ithaca was a little rough.

5/16/08 - Rejected by UChicago by snail mail.

5/19/08 - Email from Fordham notifying me that I've received a $15k/year scholarship, immediately followed by one from Harvard rejecting me. Oh well. I can't say it wasn't expected.

5/20/08 - Accepted at Vandy via phone call.

5/21/08 - Withdrew from Fordham.

5/23/08 - Accepted off Duke waitlist following a phone interview with Dean Hoye.

6/2/08 - Withdrew from Vandy.

6/3/08 - Admitted to Cardozo with a full tuition scholarship + $5k a year housing stipend via phone call , but declined the offer.

6/6/08 - Rejected from Columbia. Boooooo! :-(
