Money from Georgetown?

I noticed you got $75 000 from Georgetown. Did you apply for a specific scholarship or was this offered after you got accepted? I am very interested because I LOVE Georgetown but their website implied that no money is given to international students (which I am). Please reply. Thank you.

Hi guys, Sorry I didn't see your comments - I haven't been looking at LSN a lot lately, since I've been busy with school. I have a green card, which is why I applied to American rather than Canadian schools. For applications purposes, I was treated like an American in all respects. So I can't speak to the question of funding for international students. I can tell you that this was LSAT-driven merit money, and I received it about two months after my acceptance. My Georgetown came in about three weeks after I went complete. In my acceptance, they specifically said that they wanted to talk money later. My initial money offer from them was for $60k. This was merit money, I believe a Dean's Scholarship. Once I got my Michigan acceptance with $60k, I was able to get Georgetown to bump up to $75k, but then I decided on Michigan anyway for family reasons that had come up late in February.

Thank you!
