I worked in Real Estate for several years after college and then decided I wanted to change careers. So, here I am applying to law school at 30 years of age.

I have no excuse for my low GPA. I was simply unfocused in school.

2/15 Whoever said the first one is the sweetest was sooo right! Got the letter today from Gonzaga and loving it!

2/16 I knew it was coming and with my good news yesterday I was ready for it. Out at UW.

02/21 The status ticker at SeattleU changed to decision mailed today. I live blocks away so I'm hoping the letter came in todays mail. I think it could go either way.

02/21 Alas, there was no news in the mail.

02/22 I'm in at Seattle. Whew! The suspense was killing me.

03/07 I think I got a little ahead of myself by not waiting for my last decision. I have been offered a full tuition scholarship at Drexel. This school is still an option.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! Its nice to know that you're going to law school. But, let me tell you. Once the first one comes you get greedy!!! I want more responses. Which school is your #1? We both went complete to Gonzaga around the same time, hopefully well hear from them soon!

Gonzaga

Congrats on Gonzaga ! :) Did you receive your letter today or on the 8th? We went complete on the same day so I'm feeling a bit neurotic about hearing from them haha. Congrats again!

HAHA I'm glad I'm not they only one. My first acceptance calmed me down, for like 3 days. :) I've been fine until I saw three people get into Gonzaga on the day of or around my complete date. Now I'm crazy refreshing again. haha, this process is nuts.

Good luck on SU

I just found out from Gonzaga too. They sent me an e-mail to some admitted students online chat. Strange, but glad to know I was accepted.

Congrats on Seattle!

Yeah, the first acceptance is a huge relief. I finally get to stop worrying about a "back-up." Where is your first choice, by the way?

Cheers

Hey, thanks and congrats to you too! The SU scholarship is actually a $12,500 scholarship renewable thru 2L and 3L if you stay in the top half of the class. I noticed a trend in listing the full renewable amount so followed suit.

Congrats on SU

Well done on SU. I'm still waiting to hear which is frustrating. Perhaps I'll see you up there.

Congrats

Congrats on your acceptances. The wait is killing me. I too have no excuse for my low GPA - but, I am hoping my grad work and work exp is helpful. I retook the LSAT in Feb. I am hoping my LSAT improves. Good luck in Seattle.
