Now that I'm down to about ten more schools, I thought I would do the famous Chiashu on the ones remaining... :)

Got an email from U of San Fran saying they sent my response in the mail so I should get it shortly. Looking at the Index numbers of those who got in I have a feeling it will be yet another rejection. It's cool, I'm putting my deposit down for Gonzaga today. My Dad is paying for it knowing I still may go somewhere else, which is cool. :)

Got Waitlisted VIA email for Howard. Thought I was in a shoe-in (I'll leave a very rude comment aside...) *deep breath*
Probably going to put down my money for Gonzaga, but still wait on the other ones. I hate that I have not heard from some of these schools that have had my application for over three months! :) :(

Amazing time in Vegas, came back to a NO from Seattle U. This is expected but also a relief because it basically makes my spot at Gonzaga permanent! Ready to write my check... :) I'll still wait from a few more, but the cement is poured and it is just a matter of it drying

Just saw that my Seattle U decision is changed to MAILED as of yesterday. So from reading other people's posts I'll probably get it today. I expect a decline, just looking at my numbers compared to what they are taking, but we'll see! 3 1/2 hours of work left before I leave for home to see what I got, PLUS I'm flying out to Las Vegas for Spring Break this evening...so needless to say I'm very anxious to get out of WORK! :)

Saw this one coming a mile away :) Suprised it took them so long..haha..a big rejection from UW in a smal white envelope. I do have to say that their rejection letter has been by far the nicest! Saying that if I wanted to reapply next year they would meet with me after May 1st to go over what I could do with my application that would give me a better chance. Pretty cool....we should start a list of schools with the nicest and meanest rejection letters. They definitely vary and I find it really interesting.....but yeah, out of my number one choice...but again, very predictable! Gonzaga just took one step closer... :)

Well, small white envelope saying "I'm sorry..blah blah" from U of New Mexico. Completely fine with that, wouldn't have gone anyway....not a good enough school to make up for its location! haha. I still don't know why I applied, but it is okay...I am seeing myself more clearly at Gonzaga... :)

Well, what a start to the weekend. Around noon today I received a large white envelope from Gonzaga Welcoming me to their School of Law! Very exciting news indeed....first Washington school to hear back from! Not sure still where I am going since I have plenty to hear back from but this was very good news and will be a candidate for sure! :) :) :)

Do you ever sit and ask yourself why the hell you put yourself through all this shit....just to get into a school and bitch about the work load for 3 years to then have to take yet another TEST just to practice in a state. Oh yeah...and then have to get a job.
I guess law students are just masochists and enjoy the pain .. .. .. ..

This evening I was put on the waiting list at PACE University. Mixed emotions, happy to not have been rejected but also not a fan of the wait list. I feel by responding with "yes I want to still be considered" I am resending my original application and starting over... BUT, at least they are giving me a second chance. :) It came in a small white envelope with a return envelope inside. The extra padding gave me a hint that it was not a rejection.
Also Whittier, which I was accepted to earlier, sent me a letter today with information on campus tours and stuff. I got the one page small envelope letter and was a little scared. haha. Concerned they withdrew my name for some reason.. :) this is such an odd time in a persons life...but the waiting game continues...

Rejected, small white envelope, from Loyola Chicago...last minute choice to go there, not too heart broken. With this string of rejections Whittier's acceptance is looking nicer and nicer :)

I called Seattle U the lady was very nice and very confused as she looked up my account and noticed my file was still in committee. She had not heard of financial aid information being sent to people who were not accepted. My numbers do not give me the confidence to think I was accepted, but my soft numbers and application as a whole was pretty impressive so we'll see. I just find it weird that I'm receiving large envelopes from schools that have yet to make a decision. Ooh, the waiting game... (collective sigh)

~~QUESTION~~
So why did I get financial aid information in a large white envelope last night from Seattle U? My status is still pending on their website....I first thought they send these out to everyone who applies, but thousands of people apply and it really doesn't make sense for them to send out thousands of large colored brochures regarding paying for your Seattle U schooling.....what does everyone think? Does this mean anything....?

A big NO from Arizona State. No surprise there really....snail male, white envelope, one page. I feel the wording of this rejection was much nicer than University of Miami's rejection...their letter was sort of rude. Anyways.... lots more to wait for!

Two Envelopes today...a "Your File is Complete" notice from University of Nevada Las Vegas and a rejection from University of Miami. My first rejection of this law school cycle and actually my first rejection ever to a college undergrad or grad! Eh, it's cool....too far away from home..my Mom will be happy! haha :)

Two Small Envelopes in Snail Mail. Two pieces of paper in each one. Cal Western was a wait list with self addressed envelope to reply to if I wanted to hold my spot or drop it....I held it. Whittier's envelope contained two pieces of paper a CONGRATS and the other paper had information on paying to hold my spot, etc! So, may not be first choice but not my last choice either :) So I will be going to law school NO MATTER WHAT! :)
