Hey man, i went part time from the start because it's slightly less expensive upfront and lets face it's chicago is an expensive place to live(did the same thing for NYLS too). I got status change on friday the 26th of November, and didn't get the acceptance letter until friday the 3rd of December. I hope this helps, and good luck with your applications!

My first choice is definitely VLS, because of their amazing environmental law program, and William Mitchell because of their public interest and awesome admissions staff. I like Loyola in New Orleans too, but really I'm pretty open. I consider this a brand new start, so I'm not that worried about moving into a new market. John Marshall was a surprise honestly. I didn't expect them to get back to me so quickly, but I'm sure they'll get back to you soon. Did you apply for full time or part time?
I applied for PT for the same reasons as you-Chicago is an expensive places to live and I'd have to work and go to school. I've been in review for like 2.5 months now, I hope I hear soon! And yeah, I've heard some great things about Vermont. I'm actually only a couple hours from there and it's a in a really cool area if you're into outdoorsy stuff. And it's not too far from Burlington, VT, which is a nice city. Have you ever visited VT?
I have, I really liked it, and I hear the atmosphere at the school is like no other in regards to being laid back and student centered. Hang in there with JMLS, I'm sure you'll get in, this time of the year I think all of the schools are taking their sweet time.
