1/11/08 Update: Took a late stab at GM PT.

1/17/08 GMU moved quick to complete, though they said they did not expect a decision before February. Charleston still has not requested or processed my report accoring to LSDAS. I've been hanging "In Process" now at GSU for a week or two, but still not listed as complete.

1/28/08 *Crickets chirping*

1/29/08 I called GSU. Apparently I went complete on 1/11, but the status checker did not reflect that fact. I checked with Charleston, and my lack of completion there is my fault - I have not sent off the dean's cert forms yet. I wish they had been labeled a little better on the LSDAS site or mentioned on the Charleston site. :(

2/5/08 GSU status checker changed to "Complete ready for review". Last year, it looks like the PT decisions came out at the end of February, so I'm not too antsy for now.

2/14/08 Rejection from GMU PT. Ouch.

2/20/08 My Dean's certification forms have been turned into my undergraduate schools to forward on to Charleston. Still waiting to hear back from any school that loves me.

2/21/08 Accepted to GSU PT! Small letter in the mail. Status checker still says "Complete ready for review". No mention of scholarships, and they said I am currently classified as a non-resident. At this point, I'm just very thankful to get in. Awesome feeling.

2/28/08 Complete at Charleston. Better late than never.

4/17/08 I'm now just morbidly curious to see if/when Charleston will send out a decision.

4/17/08 Jumped the gun. In via email at Charleston.

5/5/08 Withdrew via email to Charleston. Hopefully this will open up a spot for someone. Good luck to all.

Hey they sent me an email. Also, can we swap LSAT scores? Good luck with your apps also!

Hey I emailed info@charlestonlaw.org and just asked if I was complete. Good luck with your schools. What's your top choice?

Thanks. Probably Georgia State. It seems to have the right mixture of price, location, and job opportunities. I might also be able to transfer with my current firm to our office there.

Hmm maybe call them and ask. That seems like a really long time.

Thanks for letting me know about the email. I think they review in order of when you applied, I applied back in October so that may be why, yours is probably not reviewed yet. But with that amazing LSAT score, I'm sure you'll do just fine!

thanks

I was invited to apply for a couple with deadlines of March 1st, but I don't think I will. I don't expect a scholarship there, but it sounds like they plan on deciding them in March. Congrats on getting in!

Good luck. I made the same mistake with the cert. letter. I applied back in Oct and just went complete last week because of that letter. What's your first choice?
