Sorry, I accidentally deleted your comment. The Park Service is great if you don't mind being poor and giving the same nature talk over and over and over again. Plus, as a seasonal employee, you are allowed to work no more than 9 months at one park before you have to move on.
I've posted rankings as if I were able to pick up and move anywhere. I must admit that I applied to Toledo and Akron only because they throw money at people and I'm hoping it will be a bargaining chip.
I thought you had been accepted to OSU. Congrats! Well I happen to be a native Californian living in the midwest, so if you need any tips, let me know!
Moritz said a new block of apps is going in - they review on a rolling basis within the block. Nothing on Berkeley yet? You'll have to find me on LSD (Alkiremays) and IM me.
Sorry to hear about Berkeley. Have you decided where you'll go yet? I still haven't heard a word from OSU, but I'm in the PT day at Capital.

Thanks for the well wishes on OSU. I suspect I will be waitlisted, but you never know until the letter shows up. Did Case ever send you a letter?
WOW! What a story to tell about Case! Case recently sent me a "hold" letter. I talked to a couple of Cleveland attorneys who seemed to think Case was backed up trying to review apps. I sent a reply letter to Case and will wait and see. Still waiting for OSU too. Sent them a "still interested" letter too. Just wondering - what were your thoughts on Dayton? I enjoyed my visit there in early March. If I strike out at OSU & Case I am seriously considering Dayton as my 3rd choice...I've not heard glowing things about Capital from attorneys around town.
Code-slinging...there is always hope if you can just get it to compile! Yeah...I was a little taken aback by UD's zeal regarding their 5 semester program. I'm heading down there for another visit so I can get the full scoop. I do know a few UD grads who landed solid jobs in Cincy or Columbus, but they were 6 semester grads. Capital...the real plus for me is that it is in town and I plan to stay in central Ohio after graduating. The downsides I am sure have been well documented elsewhere so I won't even go there. *sigh* I keep telling myself it is good to have options. Just gotta keep things cooking until I hear from OSU & Case.

You didn't rock the boat - honestly. I'm still struggling with my decision and whether or not I should wait a year if I don't get off the waitlist. Just trying to gather all of the facts!
