Additional info & updates

Yep..it is official. I will be attending NCCU in the fall. I'm very thankful for this opportunity. I was there three years ago, but had to leave because of family issues. Now that things have settled down I will be returning as a 1L. Can't wait!

Decided not to apply to Howard or UNC. My heart lies with NCCU.

thx for the congrats. I'm originally from Durham, so I've always had an affinity for Central and it's meaning to the community. I will do Eagle Nation proud!

Were the changes at NC for the better since you left in 05?

thanks for the encouragement

Thanks for the encouragement. I had to drop out of Grad school in 2003 and barely finished my under grad (hurt my gpa) when my dad had a massive stroke and I was the only one that could care for him. I had a 3.7 until my last year of school! I hope they factor that in to my application. The LSAT was taken during that time and I know that I could get at least a 155 on it if I took it now. If I don't get in this time, I will re take it for next year's application. I think it would be financially easier if I went to the night program, but I'd rather get done in 3 years. I'll be happy either way, I applied to both.

Congrats
