Sorry about the rejection. Hopefully NCCU or WVU will come through for you. Curious...Did Campbell ever call you for an interview? They are completely ignoring me. I called and left messages, etc., and they don't call me back. They just took my money and ran! J.

Yes, I am reapplying. Had a very busy year last year. Married in June, moved to Korea with my husband for one year. Will be back in the states just before Law school. Just retook the LSAT in Seoul, 3rd and final time. As soon as the scores are out my apps will go out. I never scheduled the interview with Campbell so they rejected me. How did your app process go last year, and how is looking this year?

I thought the Oct05 LSAT went well but I'll know for sure soon. The best advice I received was take lots of practice tests and review until you understand what you did wrong. I ordered the Powerscore full-course books and used them for self-study. It was a big help for me. There is a chance my husband will be stationed in NV so I am applying to UNLV, AZ state, UNC and NC Central, and possibly Campbell even though they are pricey. I'm also hoping that applying earlier this year will help. Good luck with your LSAT and with Campbell.

Hello there. I lived in Korea with my husband as well. We were up north by the DMZ. I enjoyed my time but am glad to be back stateside and retunring to law school. Good luck

Good luck on your apps!

Just wishing you some good luck on your apps. Nice GPA as well, I am sure you will see some acceptances your way soon. Take care.

Thanks... I have quite a split. My LSAT is at or below the 25% mark for most of the schools I'd like to go to, but my GPA is above their 75%. The GPA pulls my index up so at least my app won't be auto rejected. Hoping my PS, LORs, softskills will help too. Have you decided on FL Coastal?

Complete?

Did all of those schools contact you to tell you you're complete?

No, not yet. The complete date is when LSAC sent my report to the schools. Only 2 schools have contacted me so far about rcvg my apps, UNC and Creighton. (see notes under additional information above).

Have you heard anymore about your follow on? Good luck with your choices. DH is a Tarheel :)

No info yet on the follow-on. We are hoping that I get an acceptance before the follow-on decision has to be made, rather than the other way around. Out-of-state commutes can be rough ;-)

I can certainly appreciate that! Generally the theory being coming from an overseas tour you have a bit of priority in selecting your follow on, well, at least they are supposed to take it under advisement. Have you mentioned what branch of the military your husband is? We are an Army family. Currently as Active Duty in the National Guard.

Hey, thanks for the comment. About UNLV, you know I hear that they are really lenient on residents (as far as the # game goes) than non-residents, but of course, I havent benefitted from this little rumor. I would call the Asst.Dean or email him, he is very approachable and spoke to me at lenghth about my concerns w/my gpa and lsat score. His name is Frank Durand. I sent him an email and he ended up calling me back. He will tell you EXACTLY what the committee might have concerns about and you can work from there. In any event, I wish you the best of luck in wherever it is you end up attending!!

Strange. I've seen it happen before. My husband is active duty Air Force. We were not able to get leave for the holidays, which made it kinda rough. The tour has been interesting but I can't wait to get back to family.

For me

NCCU is closer, and the fact that it is a state school makes it very attractive, but the PT program is very competitive. Any way good luck. Hope you get what your wishing for.
