******************************************************
The order above does not reflect my preferences, and I will not be ranking schools until after I receive decisions.
******************************************************
I'm hoping my reach schools see past my numbers.
PLEASE!
I promise I am more capable than my numbers suggest!

10/20/06: Got my LSAT score for 9/30 back. Could have done better, but I let my nerves and inability to bubble correctly get to me.
11/01/06: Playing the waiting game on those LORs. I gave the forms to my recommenders in like September!
11/10/06: Yay fee waivers! Columbia, Georgetown, Duke, U of VA are the only ones I'm using. Also, Priority Track for Duke.
11/20/06: Harvard e-mail and Yale letter in the mail, both encouraging me to apply. I was going to apply anyways, but I'm still excited to get these. I heard that nobody ever gets into Yale. I heard that they don't even have a law school and it's all just a myth.
12/06: I decided to ditch Duke. There are very few schools I would leave my lovely So. Cal. for, and I have already applied to all of them. And I wouldn't have to think twice about leaving the O.C. for them.
12/17/06: Rawr. This waiting thing is killing the Christmas spirit. That, and I have to work everyday and tell my bosses that I still haven't heard anything from ANYONE.
12/26/06: Yay my first acceptance! I love you, Georgetown!
:)
01/07/07: Yay USC acceptance in a small white envelope, along with a bigger envelope with information. Now I have 2 options!
01/10/07: Call from Rob Schwartz at UCLA! I might just stay here after all...
01/16/07: I knew it was a bad sign when they said my decision wouldn't be mailed to me. WTH NORTHWESTERN?! Was it because I didn't want an interview? Now I feel really depressed about Boalt and basically all the other schools I still haven't heard from.
01/26/07: Virginia status check changed to "decision."
01/29/07: Happy Birthday to my Dad! Also, happy day for me...small cream envelope from UoVA with an acceptance inside. Oh man, I'm still sweating a little from opening it.
01/30/07: In at BU, deferred at HU. Time for some serious campaigning. I WILL claw my way in, if it's the last thing I do.
02/14/07: No love from Columbia on Valentine's Day. I mean...Singles Awareness Day. :(
03/02/07: I came back from a weekend road trip to San Fran to find a Berkeley deferral or whatever that e-mail about passing initial review is called. Berkeley is definitely one of my top choices, so I'm pretty bummed, but still hoping for the best.
03/02/07: Also came home to a Yale rejection. Not a big shock...I think I'm more upset about the midterm I just bombed. I do hope that this is my last rejection. :)
04/04/07: Back from UVA Admitted Students Weekend. I LOVED it. I was so convinced I was going there until I got 120K from BU. WHATTTTT?!?!?! Hrm this is getting tough.
04/23/07: After visiting UCLA this past weekend, I decided that I was right all along and UVA is the best place for me. UCLA was nice, but I was just so taken with UVA and I definitely did not feel that at UCLA.

University of Virginia '10

-Of course, I will wait for Harvard, but at this point, my morale is pretty low.

So I hear. I also hear being AzN isn't a URM in the academic realm, but who am I to judge. Also, very impressive founding a club when you were just 2 years old. Law schools love initiative.

Hah!

You'll get accepted because of the "I love ducks!" club alone. ;) Best of luck!

Well, geez. It doesn't look like we'll have to make that deal at all. Your score is great. I see you've got some pretty awesome options. You'll get some more of those big boys at the top as well.

And since you want to call me out on my LSN fraud, "cc-no-name," may I just point out that you are guilty of hate and run?

Choices?

Good luck on Boalt and Harvard! Any top choices yet?

Yeah - kinda bummed as well seeing how essentially everyone on LSD that got that email before us was rejected or waitlisted. I'm actually more bummed that UCLA seems to have a cutoff LSAT of 167 this year - sucks for me So if you don't get admitted to Harvard, any idea on where you want to go???

Yeah...

I think I was just wanting to stay in California so badly that I was holding onto the possibility of going to USC if they gave me money. But they didn't, so I guess I'll withdraw now.
