12/8/11 Georgetown interview will be on 12/13. I'm surprised I even got one! Also, applying for scholarships at Vandy. Barring a hail Mary coming through, it's my second choice after NU.

12/12/11 $22,000 a year at BU! All scholarships listed are over 3 years.

12/19/11 deferred to RD at NU and Cornell over the past week. Blerg.

1/21/11 holy carp from the sea. I did not ever anticipate having my choice of Vandy, GULC, and my dream school, NU. Is this real life?

1/23/11 Accepted at UT!

3/23/11 officially done waiting on schools, although I may ride the waitlist at Duke. This is going to be a tough decision. Obviously Michigan and Northwestern are amazing schools, but I loved Vandy (especially with my career/geographic goals) and the lower debt is very, very tempting. Barring scholarship money at Mich and NU, I think Vandy will be my choice. I'll update when that decision is made!

4/1/2012 Northwestern matched Vandy's scholarship, making this an easy decision. I'm incredibly happy to be attending my dream school in the fall. Northwestern Law class of 2015!

Cornell may be stressing you out, but you already have better options. Cornell may place well in biglaw but something like 27% of their students commit suicide, so you're better off with what you have. Congrats on a great start to the cycle, and I suspect it will only get better.

J12, that's probably the best use of statistics ever. Good luck on your cycle, Scarlet!

Can you tell me why NU & Vandy were more appealing than Michigan?
