Additional info & updates

Pretty much tanked the June LSAT. I scored way lower than what my practice tests have indicated... for this reason I will be retaking in Sept. with better results... hopefully.

I just retook the LSAT not exactly sure on how I did... Sort of messed up on the RC section but the rest of the test went well. I am fairly confident that I did better than last time. I am anticipating a range of 157-165 for a possible score. I guess I will find out in a couple weeks.

I just got my results back for the Sept LSAT... not good I only got a 158. I was practice testing around a 166-167 towards the end. I am really upset and am considering retaking in Dec :(

Accepted at U of Iowa via email on 1-29 and via status checker and snail mail today (02-01)!!! Very excited and suprised!

Feb 11: Just sent in my application for Indiana's MPA program as a joint degree student. Hopefully I will hear back from Indiana soon!

Feb 15: I was wait listed at UW Madison today. I am sort of disappointed by this but at least I did not get rejected, I guess. I am just hoping to get accepted. I am planning on sending them all kinds of stuff to help make my case!

Feb 17: Decison made at the University of Maryland. I hope it comes in the mail soon so I can see what it is!

Feb 19: I was wait listed by Indiana today. I am rather disappointed by this because I actually thought I had a pretty good chance of getting in. I will send a LOCI like i plan on doing with Madison.

Feb 22: And the wait lists keep coming... WL at Maryland today...

April 5: The waiting is getting really old! I really just want to get into UW so I can end my cycle!

May 5: IN AT UW VIA EMAIL!!!! My cycle is finally over I am so excited!!! best of luck to everyone else!

I have similar numbers to you and was wondering if you are planning on applying to UW's Law School? I would love to go there.

The same thing happened to me. What are you thinking about retaking? I'm considering it quite a bit too. I think we have an ok shot right now at most big midwest schools (Madison, OSU), and those are the ones I'm hoping for. Then again, I would love to feel more confident about it.

Congrats!

Congrats on the Iowa acceptance. They seem to look favorably on us high GPA people. Maybe I will end up seeing you there.

Congrats!

On Iowa!!!! How did you find out? Was it on the status checker? I sent my app in around the same time as you.

Congrats on your acceptances thus far. I had a quick quesiton for you (or anyone else that reads this), Does "in progress" on the Iowa status checker mean that the app is complete and under consideration? I want to make sure that that status doesn't actually mean my application is in progress but incomplete. Thanks.

As you say at least a waitlist is not a rejection. Good luck getting off the waitlist. I am working them hard as well. Hoepfully we both can get accepted there yet.

Congrats!
