Good old North Shore. I am an NU alum, and partly miss Evanston, even though it is only a short 'L' ride away. I'm guessing you are trying to stay in Chicago?

thanks for the congrats. I am not ruling out GW just yet -- they are going to consider me with the FT waitlist to switch prior to the fall, and I will be visiting both schools. Emory has made themselves very competitive though, that is for sure. I am STILL crossing my fingers for Penn though (not gonna happen, but I can hope).
I cannot believe they waitlisted you, not that it matters. Which way are you leaning at this point? This wait is killing me. NU is being a punk. They should just let you in.
Yeah, it looks more and more like GW is the place for me. Based on everything I have seen, I will be shocked if I get into NU. The more I think about it to, I think I will just really love being at GW. We'll see. If it weren't for those damned waitlists, I could be done with sweating this... Do you have a sense if this hold is a priority waitlist? It seems weird that they would hold you at this point. It made sense back in January, but now I'm confused. Either way, Cornell is a great place to be, let alone with a lot of money.

Yeah, it's kind of a bummer I won't be in Ithaca this fall. Cornell's been great, but Washington just works better for me and my wife. Good luck this fall!
