Additional info & updates

Seven years WE in software. Married with son. Non-URM. Significant upward grade trend my final five semesters.

Applied and accepted to Temple FT class of '05 but family reasons led me to postpone my enrollment. Reapplying for '07 as a FT Evening student.

UPDATES
12/14 - Went complete at Temple via email. Said most people will receive a decision 8-12 weeks after going complete. Don't think it took quite that long in the '04/05 cycle but I also waited till the end of December to apply at that point.

12/20 - In at Temple! Can't believe they got back to me so quickly. They still had my app. from the 04/05 cycle though which I'd imagine played a big part. Scholarship is $3750/yr for four years as long as I stay in the top 50%.

The 12k is for the first year only. Temple sounds great but it will be too expensive for me without instate tuition. I think you'll be fine getting in, good luck!

really need to go PT as I have a wife and kid eliminating 'nova. Plus, in state tuition makes TU a much better deal for me anyway. If I could get into Penn I'd seriously consider it but they rejected me for the '05 cycle and assume it would be the same this time around.

Thanks. Congrats to you, as well. Temple is ranking pretty high for me due to the unexpected scholarship $$. Plus, the low cost of living (compared to DC/NYC, at least) is a huge plus.
