Ha, good question actually. I have pretty low confidence because of what my GPA calculated out to be. I've considered retaking the LSAT because I was practicing at a 169 but test day stress got to me. I also need financial aid, so I'm assuming if I go to a lower ranked school I'm more likely to get a full tuition scholarship... Idk. I've been thinking about applying to a couple more higher ranked.
We have similar numbers. Congrats on an amazing cycle so far.
Thanks! Ya I've been mostly pleased. I've just noticed with numbers like ours we'll get into good schools, but not a lot of money. I didn't get any money from GW, which was my top choice... But that's ok! Good luck on your cycle!
Did you interview with Georgetown? I'm expecting either a WL or ding from them soon, and I was just wondering how your process went after going complete. Congrats on your other acceptances! William and Mary seems like a cool place, I'll be visiting there soon :)
No, I was never invited to interview there. I just went completed and then a few months later rejected. I am actually going to visit all the dc/ Virginia schools next week to see what way I'm leaning.
Any idea where you will go? I would definitely leverage those higher ranking school scholarships at other tier 1 schools. Mason may also be willing to give a lot of funding given the recent 30 million dollar donation; I've also heard that Dean Butler is very willing to negotiate and adjust scholarships (if you are even still interested). You have a lot of great options and I'm sure you will thrive wherever you go!
Ya, I went out and visited all of the Virginia Schools and I've decided on Washington and Lee! I loved the small town feel. George Mason has a great program for what I'm wanting to do but for some reason they waited an insanely long time to respond to my application and by that point I had already kinda made up my mind on the other school.
That's incredible! Congratulations :) :) :)
Why aren't you aiming for higher ranked schools? Seems like a lot of these are safeties.
