2-16 First Accept. to Penn State via email. I am very happy about this one!

2-17 Rejected at Kentucky. Didn't think my numbers were high enough anyway, but I really love Lexington. Oh well.

2-20 In at Michigan State with 10,000 via phone call. I didn't think I'd be getting a money offer from them, so I'm excited!

2-23 On hold at Miami via snail mail. Wasn't expecting that. I was really interested in their real estate program.

2-24 Rejected at DePaul. I didn't have them on here because after I sent the app I decided that I couldn't afford it and there was no way they would giveme money if I did happen to get in. It's a good school, though. I visited DePaul and almost went there for my Master's degree. I met with some people from the law school and they treated my wife and me to lunch. Very friendly. If you get some money, it's a good place to be-imho. otherwise, it's pretty expensive.

2-26 Got my packet from PSU today, and the seat deposit is due by April 1st! I sure hope I start hearing back from some of these schools soon!! I'll be visiting PSU next Friday (6th, I believe) so I'll post more info about it when I get back. Also, if anyone wants info about Buffalo, send me an IM. It's where I'm currently enrolled.

2-27 Status checker at Mercer says "Acceptance letter mailed." My wife grew up in Macon, so this might be a good option for us. It's been 20 degrees or below as long as I can remember in Buffalo, so the South is sounding like a good option right now!

2-28 Dinged at Cincinnati via snail mail. That sucks.

3-2 Accepted to Kansas, Nebraska, and Louisville today via snail mail. Also received Mercer acceptance. These are all schools that I will be seriously considering, so I'm excited.

3-3 Ding Ding Ding-Out at Georgia State via status checker. One day they will regret that decision. haha.

3-4 Just got done taking a beastly econometrics test and what do I find in my inbox? an acceptance to Charleston!! I know it's new and relatively unknown, but I've heard AMAZING things about the area, and it might be a place I'd like to settle down with my family. We're going to visit over spring break, so I'll update this later. We're also going to stop at Penn State and U. South Carolina on the way, so leave me some questions if you have any.

3-11-09 In at Buffalo via email! This is where I am attending school now, so it's a great option to have. It would be nice not to move again.

3-12-09 Just got back from a LONG road trip with my family. We stopped at PSU (it was seriously amazing; I just wish it wasn't so expensive), South Carolina, and Charleston. If anyone wants to know about any of these schools, just ask.

3-13-09 WL from OU via snail mail. I hate the WL. I'd much rather know my choices with certainty. Oh well.

3-16-09 Withdrew from Charleston and Villanova today. I really liked Charleston, but I just didn't know how sure I was that I would be committed to staying in the city and didn't know how well the degree would travel compared to some of the other schools I've been accepted to. If I knew I wanted to live there, I would have probably picked it for sure.
Villanova was just too expensive for me when I considered tuition and cost of living. I'm wondering why I even applied there in the first place.

WL at Denver. I emailed to tell them I wanted to be switched to PT and they told me, "OK, you'll be on the WL for the PT program."

WL at Mizzou. An admit here would havecut out Kansas, Nebraska, and maybe even Oklahoma for sure, but now we'll have to just continue to wait.

Rejection at IU Bloomington. What the hell? I thought I was a shoe in here? :)

It's looking like it's going to be Penn State. I'm just having a really hard time making the final decision.

3-27 WL at Iowa. I don't know how that happened, but I'm going to set up a tent on their front lawn until they let me in!!

3-30 The WL flood continues. WL @ Temple, BYU, and Pitt in the mail. I have no idea how the BYU WL happened. Seriously. I didn't even have my application on here because I thought I was a definite rejection.

3-31 Just withdrew from Louisville. That was hard. I love Kentucky and that city. That was really hard. :(

4-1 Accepted to MICHIGAN!!!

4-2 OK, bad april-fools joke. Rejected by Utah today. Good. Now I have an even greater reason to hate them for the rest of my life. Also WD from Temple, Oklahoma, and Mizzou.
