Yeah, I agree with you there... it is a good school, but I am not too thrilled about the Houston area. But, I hear there are numerous job opportunities right out of school in the Houston area. But then again, you are kind of stuck in Houston... Again, good luck!

It has a decent reputation, but it's in competition with much higher ranked schools in the larger FL markets like South Florida and Tampa. If you want to live in Jacksonville it's a safe bet. Also, I hear the facilities are really nice.

Hi. Just wanted to wish you luck on your app cycle as well. At this point, my top choices are Tulsa, Washburn, and UMKC (not necessarily in that order). A lot depends upon the school visits. Best wishes!

On the new acceptance. Did you receive some login info from Creighton? I can't seem to get mine to work, does yours?

I received the info from Creighton via snail mail. You will probably get it in a few weeks, I guess. I did get the email fron Denver. I was bummed and confused. But, I am happy to still be in consideration. Do you think it's a deferral?

I noticed the people receiving rejections and I was happy to not receive one of them. I was thinking about drafting a LOCI, I mean, we have 6-8 more weeks! I think I'm going to, I need to send one to Marquette also.

I really like St. Thomas, too, but the price is scary. I think that if I was forced to choose today, I would be moving to Omaha. :) I would be OK with that decision, but I really hope I have some more choices. March better be good!

I am in such a bind with the WLs. I am struggling between Creighton and St. Thomas. I wrote St. Thomas to ask for a scholarship, and they were kind enough to push my deposit deadline back to April 10th (so the committee could have time to reeval. my file). I am so torn. Do you have any insight for me? Are you set on U. of NE?

With those holds. Both schools are great. I am keeping my WL very much in the back of my mind as I contemplate where to deposit. I go back and forth everyday, it seems. I think UST is the better fit for me though. I am not counting on the committee awarding any money. Maybe USD will come through sometime soon! Here's to hoping!

Ok! I sent my deposit into Creighton! I am actually pretty happy with the decision. I think if nothing comes of my WLs I will really enjoy it there.

Sorry I frequently forget about this site so I didn't notice your comment. Yes I will be attending OU in the fall. Turns out they wl-ed me due to YP so if you are still interested in attending OU and haven't done so already I would highly recommend writing them a LOCI. Looks like they are really looking for applicants that are serious about OU. GL!!

I was regular waitlist at OU and was offered a spot to start in summer program. Leaning towards accepting it but we shall see. Good luck in your cycle. I almost applied to Neb.

Im really not sure about UNL. I visited East Lansing and was sold on MSU, but this kind of threw another option into the mix. What were your thoughts on the school?

These schools are slowing getting back to me. USD should come in a couple weeks. I received a positive email regarding the Marquette WL today. I am hopeful that this will be my first WL/A for this cycle! You are still torn? Does the drop of NE in the rankings effect your decision at all? I feel like OU, SMU or UNLV will be coming through for you! Good luck! We are almost done...almost.

Im not sure as well. The ranking made it more of a cloud but I was pretty set on MSU. i paid both first deposits so I will think it over for the next few weeks. I'm not sure if I want to visit, etc. and I know I won't be practicing in Nebraska anyway. Its a tough decision now haha.
