I want to congratulate you on all of your acceptances. I would request, however, that you withdraw from any schools that you do not plan to attend since many people are on waitlists. Thanks, and good luck with everything.

No PNW love!!

I am feeling your pain. I looked here hoping to see you in at CLS and UC/B and can't believe you are in my same boat. Hope you got the encouraging UW fin. aid email a while back. See you at the reception 4/21 if you go.

PNW vs. NYC
Thursday, December 29 2005 at 07:00 PM

Money, fear and the fact that I will never settle anywhere south of Eugene or more than 20 miles east of I5. If I were under 30 I would go to NYU in a heartbeat. But I am going to be 40 when I graduate and I have heard lots of horror stories about finding a job. UW/LC for free = less risk. NYU = more risk and student loan payments until I am 50. But NYU keeps sending me all this cool stuff and I know it would be so much better intellectually. It is really not an easy decision and I will probably go down to the wire. I am meeting with some lawyers next week to discuss it. Good luck at NYU - represent the PNW!!!
