Additional info & updates

Not happy with OCT. 2010 score... will be retaking the LSAT.

However... I will apply ED to IU-Indy. I probably wont get in... but If I did I would most certainly go there. The opportunity there, plus the fact
I live right down the road would make that a no brainer.

11/5/10- Got a Fee Waiver from Hamline. Never really was an option. They seem okay. I will apply since it is free but am not holding my breath or anything. I have resigned myself to the fact that I am not going to be accepted without a higher LSAT score. FEB test needs to be good. My midterms just came out and I would have made dean's list had this been my final marks for the semester - so I know that my grades are on the rise.

11/8/10 - Fee Waiver from Appalachian. Not an option really but free is free.

11/10/10 - Email this morning from Phoenix... The subject line was study in Arizona. I got the e-mail on my iphone and mistakenly in my waking stage I thought it said study at Arizona and was thinking... uh huh yeah right this is a joke... Well it was . Phoenix wondered why I hadn't e-mailed them back to say I was going to apply.
I am thinking Dayton may have been overlooked. I really am interested in Intellectual Property especially as it applies to media law. I am a Journalism (broadcast) guy and really am interested to see if Dayton really has as good of a program as they tout. I may request a fee waiver from them. I fit their LSAT numbers without a retake... and my retake score could always secure me scholarship money. I would be close enough to home and Dayton really isn't super expensive to live in. Seems interesting after my almost assured rejection from IU-Indy. If I don't get some of these LOR's finalized I won't be able to apply ED to IU-Indy. Yikes!

11/12/10--- Received Creighton fee waiver. Interesting. I don't really fit their numbers but will be applying here. School isn't really all that bad if you can get over the fact that it is in Omaha. All I can think about is Daniel Tosh's bit on Omaha... However... This would be a nice accepted notice if it came in the mail.

11/14/10---Sent in IU-Indy app... finishing Hofstra, Hamline, Dayton and Coastal tonight. Then I am out of money for a bit and will hold off on apps for a week or so.

11/15/10--- Fee Waiver to Wayne State this morning in my inbox. My cousin graduated from there only 2 years ago and really liked it. Probably will apply since it is free. Finishing apps today to the rest of the schools. On-campus job pay is in and awesome.

11/17/10--- Fee Waiver to University of the Pacific is in my inbox this afternoon. Like IU-INDY... Doubt I would be accepted but it is a TT school and I would probably choose it over some others... application after application. I have saved the schools I don't have fee waivers to until last. I am waiting on Appalachian to send me my fee waiver code and then it will be done. U of Detroit Mercy, New Hampshire School of Law (Franklin Peirce) and Howard all cost money so I am holding back a bit on these. I think I will e-mail each of these schools and ask for a waiver.

11/22/10--- Fee waiver discussion from New Hampshire. After requesting more info they are going to give me one. I also applied to ONU as another "probable admit." I mean I might as well if it is only going to cost me $12 to the LSAC. However now I am tapped on cash for this. Appalachian finally got their fee code to me over the weekend and I submitted that app as well... I really would like to get some admit letters or even a rejection or two soon. LETS GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD. LOL Cant wait!

11/26/10 --- Decided to get on the status checkers and lurk a bit.

MC Law is your best choice and a good choice. Its well respected in the south. Just make sure you stay in the top 50%. I know some guys who graduated there in 08 in the bottom 50% and they BOTH work at home depot doing nothing legal.
