Hey is the George Mason ED binding?

Monday, October 04 2010 at 08:00 PM

I haven't had the chance to visit Stetson yet, but I've heard its a beautiful campus. I really would like U.M, but the cost is unbelievable. Once I get some acceptances I'll have to make some decisions. Good luck with your apps.

Thanks man and same to you. I really like Campbell and being that I lived in Raleigh the past 4 years, I know the area really well. My application has been complete at Campbell for several days now, so hopefully it will go into review sometime soon! Good luck with all your apps!

how can you check your status? the link won't work ahhh

Friday, February 11 2011 at 07:00 PM

Sorry about Campbell. Did they say how many people usually come off the wait list?

Wednesday, June 15 2011 at 08:00 PM

It's still not working; I guess I will have to call the admissions office. I'm sure you'll make it off the waitlist and good luck with all your other apps!

I got the same notice from U Miami--but I'm hesitant to call it a wait-listing, since it said that we'll be reconsidered before April 30th. Anyway, what turned you off when you visited the campus? I've never been to Miami.

Thanks bro. You got good numbers, why aren't you applying to more schools?

Tuesday, August 30 2011 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on UB! I've also applied. Did they mention anything about scholarships?

Thanks

Thanks for the input. I actually thought I must have made a mistake on my app, but when I went back and looked I didn't. I applied for full-time at John Marshall but then they accepted me for part-time. I'm okay with them not offering me any money, since it was kind of my back-up option anyways. Question for you: I keep seeing this term "splitter" all over the place but I don't know what it means. Can you explain it to me?

I think we updated our Dayton profiles at the exact same time. Congratulations on getting accepted!

Thanks.

Charlotte
Wednesday, June 15 2011 at 08:00 PM

Hey, The stipulation at Charlotte is a 3.0, which I don't really know what to think about. A 3.0 in undergrad is easy to obtain, but probably not so much in law school haha. On the other hand, it is a nice scholarship. Not sure what to do yet.

You should apply to Charlotte, they would probably give you some scholarship money too man.

Congrats

To you too are your acceptances. I agree with you on the stips at Akron. Stetson is a viable choice though. I'm from Florida and I can tell you that regionally Stetson has a solid reputation.

Lucky you, making up your mind so early! Do you anticipate any scholarship money from Stetson?

I'm really not sure. Staying in Florida would be for the best though. I am really hoping for FSU right now, but I also want to get down to visit Stetson. Looks like a gorgeous campus.

I don't know. They send they would send me information, but they never did. It was split between two different scholarships. Oaks Scholar at 15k and Leadership Fellow at 2,500 (each per year). Sadly, the Leadership Fellow required a whole interview/application process (they wouldn't tell you what it was worth until after it was awarded). Now I know that's obviously because no one in their right mind would waste that much time and effort for 2500. (still a little bitter about that haha)
