1-21-2011: Received email from Berkeley, file is under review, the waiting begins.

1-21-2011: Was offered a fee waiver at Northwestern. Just applied.

2-4-11: Admitted to American!!! Received an email, also via status checker. Went complete on 1/31/11.

2-14-11: Chapman: Status checker changed from "complete" to "in review"

3.3.2011 Update: Rejected at Berkeley, total reach, was expected. Waitlisted at UCLA. Decided to apply to Hastings and UCI. Still waiting on the rest. As you can see, I applied to mostly reach schools. Why not...go big or go home.

3.16.2011: In at Cardozo via phone call from the Dean. Scholarship is 30k per year guaranteed. Very excited about this school.

3.17.2011: In at Hastings via phone call!!!!

4.15.2011: I have withdrawn from American. Received Scholarship from Hastings, amount is per year with contingencies. Very little money from Chapman, will probably withdraw. I will either commit to Cardozo or Hastings.

8.1.2011: Attending UCI Law!! Good luck everyone!

It's definitely my #1. I have a few friends at Chapman and they say it usually takes a while. One friend was admitted in June. Best of luck and congratulations on the Cardozo scholarship!

I think you should wait a year and retake the LSAT. Otherwise, you're wasting your GPA and URM status. You could get into much, much better schools and more money if you wait and retake.
