Hi, sorry this took so long for the comment, I don't check as regularly as I should now that the dreaded application process is over:) I did not visit Catholic, but I've heard a lot of good things. Supposedly the building is right near the Capitol Building (I think). It's a good school, they just didn't offer enough money. Good luck with law school:) If you have any more questions, just let me know.

Catholic

I was going to apply to Catholic, but didn't because US News said they have less than a 65% bar passage rate. Something to consider.

Congrats on your acceptances. Since you've been accepted to a couple of your higher choices, will you be withdrawing your app from NYLS? How about Seton Hall?

We applied to alot of the same schools and my top 5 are the same as your top five, congrats on American, George Mason and Villanova. Go PA

Hi! Just wondering if you think you'll end up at Mason (but I guess you can't know till you hear back from other schools). I just got my acceptance from them and I will most likely be headed there in August. I'm excited - it's a great school! I lived near it a few years back - good area, lots of jobs. I've heard good things from their grads too. Good luck!

Hey there - just curious: why'd you rank Villanova over GMU? I'm applying to a lot of the same schools and would love to hear your thoughts. :-) Thanks!

American

We are basically number twins and go to school in PA. Where do you go to school? Have you made a decision? I'm thinking about American and have wonderful things about the law school.

GMU vs American
Thursday, November 03 2005 at 07:00 PM

i decided to go w/ GMU. from what i hear it's got a great reputation as an up and coming top tier so it's growing in name recognition w/ employers. email me if you want my further opinion. goodluck!

congrats

on your acceptances... we have similar numbers. I didnt apply to American but I really like GM. Good luck!

my advice is GMU its ranked 37 on the new rankings which is better then American. Plus its a lot cheaper to attend, and its in a better location. You still have access to the city, but cheaper housing. I know I had to choose between American, UMD, and GMU and it was an easy choice for me. good luck. email me or whatever. :)
