The only reason GULC is still there is because my gf is a 1L there and she insists that I at least consider it. Currently though, I'm truly split between Yale and Stanford.

i spent the last 4 years in ithaca... michigan would be great but i can't handle that kind of weather for another three years...

I think I would choose UMich over most schools because it has a great alum network and I think I'd be happy there, but I am pulling for Harvard (huge reach) and Berkeley, so we'll see. My LSAT actually improved by 7 points from one test to the next, so I think that may weigh more in my favor, but who knows. Getting really antsy now.... Thanks for the advice!

yeah, Clarence Darrow. he went to MLS too. can't really explain why i got the scholarship; i've done a lot of volunteer work, maybe that had something to do with it. all i know is that i'm stoked to get it! sarah zearfoss rocks my world.

In my profile browsing tonight, by chance I have come across two different people that applied to Regents. In both if their profiles, you asked them why they applied to a school that caters to "nutjobs" of the "religious right". Why the animosity?

thanks for the message and congrats. i'm definitely excited about michigan and will be visiting in a few weeks during one of their admit weekends. i'm not quite sure where i'm going to go, though- i think i'm going to visit several and decide from there- but michigan sounds like it would be amazing. i'm glad your son enjoys it so much!

Nothing against CMC, but I don't know too much about it as I didn't go there and didn't spend much time there while I was in Claremont. Glad to hear your son likes Umich!

i havent visited my site in a while... i saw your comment thanks for visiting. to be honest i dont remember making comments about Harvard, but maybe i did.. was it that one guy who said he got ran over or something?? i dont know. anyways thanks for recommending Regent but I dont think that is the right place for me. I did see what you have written about the place on other boards, and i am confused why you wrote on my board that it is a "happenin place". i am lead to believe that you may think it is a bad place. why would you think i should go to this place for nutjobs (as you so eligently put it). do i seem like i would fit in there? oh well i will probably take your advise and apply there. thanks you changed my life.
