Numbers

Hey, we're almost twins based on our numbers (you were born 0.03 minutes ahead, apparently). You have great soft factors. Good luck with the applications!

Good Luck!

Hey, I'll be pulling for you and watching your apps closely as I'm another one of your numbers twins.

Thanks for the warm congrats and best wishes! I am sure you'll get into Georgetown and most of the schools you applied to! They'd be dumb to pass you up. Best of luck, keep me updated!

Thanks!

Hey! You and I are twins, with a good amount of overlap. I'm sure you'll do well. Try not to worry about GTown. I've been waiting as long as you.

cornell deferral surprises me and diminishes my hope for my own acceptance. good luck though!

Thanks!

You look really competitive for Michigan; don't worry. You applied a little after I did, and you're not a Michigander, so you'll just have to wait a couple more weeks. :-( If UM sent you a waiver, they like you. You'll do just fine.

Columbia fudged
Friday, September 16 2005 at 08:00 PM

While i know that my chances at columbia are zero to none, I just realized that i semi-fudged on a portion of the application. I didnt put down the complete address for my highschool. Do you think I should send them a letter telling my complete address or do you think its to trivial to notice?

congrats on cornell!

Suppose is taking NYU so friggin long?

Congrats! and Question
Thursday, March 02 2006 at 07:00 PM

Hi! Congrats on all the acceptances! We have very similar number and I just went to decision at Georgetown....I was wondering how long it took before you received any letter from them after your status changed on the website? Thanks and good luck with the last two!

sorry about penn
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

sorry to hear about the ding. Hopefully NU and GTown are higher picks anyway. Do you know what the postmark was on the Penn letter? I was expecting mine today, but with no luc k. Im in SF.

best revenge
Sunday, January 29 2006 at 07:00 PM

is living well. Or so I've heard. And Gtown, NU and Much are certainly living well. I'm doing nonprofit work here in SF, so it seems we have a decent amount in common. No word from Penn for me, which is odd. Thought I'd be dinged or WL'ed by now. I'm from the philly area, so Penn is an obvious number one. Best of luck making your choice. Seems like you can't go wrong. Also, lets hope it stops raining soon. Wettest march in SF since 1904.

167s
Saturday, December 10 2005 at 07:00 PM

its funny you say that, because i think 167 is probably the most frustrating LSAT score ever. Its one above the cut-off: 166 is the 25% range at Penn and Gtown, and just seems mid-160s to me. 168+ is more solidly in the running. 167 is just... it feels blah to me, not a success and not a failure. In fact in all my preLSAT prep, i consistently got 168-173, with a slew of 163-164s on a bad week. But i dont remember EVER getting a 167, and I was just so taken aback by it when I got the email from LSAC, like I didnt know you could get that. Anyway well see what NYUs verdict on 167s is, but it seems like most schools LOVE to waitlist the 167s- not sure why that is. anyway end rant. congrats again. Mich seems awesome. ~n

Son will be a 2L come September. No regrets about his choice. That is, after his finals were over. Very excited about some of his classes and profs. Ann Arbor is awesome.
