I am very impressed with SIU School of law. The area is pretty cheap to live in. Carbondale doesn't have a whole lot to do, but that is good while going to law school. There is nature everywhere. The professors are very student oriented and Dean Alexander is Amazingly nice. He is always friendly and professional. The School is kind of small but it is nice. If you have any specific questions let me know.
please email me about arkansas index #'s... is 205 and 200 firm? should i send additional materials, ect. thanx
Thank you kind sir. Best of luck in your endeavors...
Mr. distinguished and friendly gentleman... Not sure if you have my email? I would love to see the specifics for U of A.
I only applied to U of Ark because it was free. I sent them a lack luster personal statement and never discussed diversity (I didn't with any of PS's). I don't know what sets us apart in the eyes of the committee. Your grad work should be a plus. My work experience is extensive and my profession is complex. I am proven in the work force and that can't hurt. Don't know if I'd use Portuguese in Arkansas. Do the single wide vendors speak Portuguese? I'm sure you'll get in, don't worry.
they asked me to send a letter but before they received it they rejected me, I was like what the F.
They emailed me asked for my personal statement and my resume. I emailed those to him the next day and got my acceptance by email that same day, so they must have saw something in my P.S. or my resume that they liked!
thank you for the compliments on my profile... yes it does bother me when people have profiles that don't say anything... especially not even numbers... very selfish
F\\\'in blank blank University of ARKANSAS...
at Howard? Or was that decision date meant for Loyola? Thanks and congrats on SIU-C
TJ- i see you have not left me a place to respond except on my own board. Cowardly of you. Your comments have made me extremely sick this morning and I am going to have to leave work very soon. First let me say I have not meant to offend anyone, especially you. My comments never implied that white applicants are better qualified than blacks...it kind of sounds like you have some innate FREUDIAN problem because there is no presumption to your lack luster and sickening argument. i merely provided the numbers to caren40 out of courtesy and for FYI(as this site is for information exchange!), and as i Posted on her wall they are very similar in ratio acceptance rates to blacks--so what the hell are you talking about. You moron i made no assumptions about anything. The numbers i gave out came straight from the Dean of Admissions Reginald McGahee, Esq. I think he has, what did you say, has has oh, credibility and i think his statistical evidence is factual. (i can forward you his email if you like) Secondly i never attempted to compare her response from HUSL to black people's responses, how the HELL do i know--(i hope you were tired when you wrote this crap on my wall as it is just that...lacking any kind of reasoning) Thirdly I assure you that if i am accepted, which i probably wont be, i will Go to Howard as i have a tremendous respect for the school and the persons who teach and attend there. (god this is tooo easy) Finally--if you ever write on my wall again without my permission, i will permanently delete you from cyberspace..j/k. :) Love you always jerichosun.
I cordially invite you all to read what i have written on CAREN40's wall and then compare it to what TJ has written on her and my wall in response. It is Obvious that this person is schizophrenic. j/k
hi, i just wanted to say that i find you to have a great sense of humor. i am also amazed at how similar all of our personality types are in terms of spending hours arguing with people we don't know about the most ridiculous things. i also don't know why people get so offended. this is simply a numbers exchange website, designed to help each other expand our scope of knowledge. wherever you decide to attend, i'm sure it would be fun to have you in class. best wishes and congratulations on your current acceptances. so far i'm in at tu...so when you get a decision, let me know if you decide to attend...
hey, thanks for the info on tulsa. i live in edmond/deer creek area and have only been to tulsa a few times for business. i have liked what i have seen thus far, including the law school. it's good to know that someone who grew up there is optimistic about coming back. if you have any other inside info about tu, its placement record, program, etc., let me know. it's always good to network. i'll be going to the pre-law day this saturday, so i should learn more that day....again, thanks for the info!
I wholeheartedly agree that being a little older can be an advantage in attending law school. I have really not done much research either...just learning little tidbits along the way. Let me know if you decide to attend TU. The only thing I\\\'m waiting on is to see if I get into St. Mary\\\'s, then make a decision if necessary. Otherwise, it looks like I\\\'m going to Tulsa. I actually can\\\'t imagine finding a law school any more informative, dedicated to excellence and professional. I was truly impressed with what I saw on Saturday. Keep me informed...
Congrats on making your decision. I will probably see you in Aug. Take care,
Your comments about applying to Harvard. How'd you end up on that. Surprised you didn't apply to Regent. Now there's one happenin' place!
Hey, if you have any questions feel free to contact me. Look forward to being your class mate.
Are you considering attending SIU? If so, I can give you some info on it. I live in the area and go to SIU undergrad.
